Planning a luxury trip to Las Vegas this year? With land-based casinos on the strip officially back open for business and the luxury resorts that house them ready and waiting to welcome back guests from across the globe, there’s never been a better time to visit. And, while we’ve loved getting our gaming fix remotely thanks, in no small part, to the no deposit casinos on Slotsia and the plethora of other casino sites and apps that have popped up over the past two years as their popularity continues to soar, if you’ve been pining for the glitz and glamour of a real life experience, then the original casino capital of the world is the perfect place to get your fix.

With such a multitude of ultra-opulent hotels and resorts to choose from in the city, deciding where to stay can be tricky – but if you’re looking for a thoroughly modern experience where you can rub shoulders with the hippest movers and shakers in the gaming world and maybe spot a celebrity or two relaxing around the pool, then The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is the place to be. Arguably the very trendiest hotel in Sin City, it offers innovative design, elegant facilities and thrilling food and entertainment scenes. Here’s why you should book yourself a suite at the resort for your 2022 getaway.

The cutting edge design

Enjoying a privileged location right at the heart of the iconic Las Vegas strip, this unique luxury resort and casino has welcomed a whole host of celebrities and high-rolling guests over the years thanks to its opulent range of facilities and buzzing entertainment scene.

Its contemporary design is characterised by impressive digital art installations and cutting-edge features throughout its public spaces. From its bold, illuminated staircases to the thoroughly modern and often interactive sculptures that bring even its quietest corners to life, it’s little wonder that guests find themselves instantly captivated – although if you’re used to the city’s more traditional and historic luxury hotels, then you might be in for a surprise with what’s on offer here.

Make no mistake; this place is decidedly cool, and there’s little denying it once you’ve set foot inside the lobby or anywhere else beyond.

The opulent facilities

Of course, the design is but one element of the overall experience of staying at the Cosmopolitan, and it’s the opulent facilities that really impress. There are three pool areas, two of which are perfect for lying back and soaking up some rays, premium cocktail in hand. The third, which is the resort’s sophisticated Day Club, promises an alluring vibe from morning until evening, and you can be almost certain of seeing some famous faces here from time to time, enjoying the laid-back, yet achingly cool, atmosphere.

If you’re the type who likes to keep active during your breaks, then you’ll be fully catered to with not one, but two fitness centres, both of which are fully equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment, and some private tennis courts where you can enjoy some outdoor recreation. On the other hand, relaxing here is encouraged, and the resort’s spa comes complete with its own lavish hammam, where you can escape from the hustle and bustle that Vegas is known and loved for and indulge in some much needed R and R.

A thoroughly modern foodie scene

The Cosmopolitan’s food scene is certainly something to write home about, with over 20 choices guaranteeing to keep things varied, no matter how long you plan to stay. Flagship restaurants include chef Jose Andreas’ Mexican-Chinese fusion restaurant, China Poblano, and David Chang’s chic and sophisticated Asian-inspired Momofoku, while Spanish tapas eatery Jaleo is a popular spot for relaxed and sociable dining.

There are, of course, several suitably stylish drinking spots to choose from, too. The glamorous Chandelier is the perfect place to relax with a glass of champagne or sample some more cocktails, while if you’re looking for something a little stronger, then head to Ghost Donkey – a mezcal and tequila bar showcasing the flavours of Mexico in a New York City style setting.
