Monaco

Monaco has everything for fans of the sport among many other wonderful opportunities to indulge. From world-renowned hotels and casinos, boutique shopping and fine dining, all with a gorgeous backdrop, it’s easy to see why this small part of the world is quite so special.

Monaco comes alive during its F1 event and, this year, the Grand Prix is set to take place on Sunday, 29th May, but the build-up leading up to it will be electric. View the on-track action from the land or sea and supplement your trip with a stay in the local area to take in the ornate architecture, enjoy the opera or make use of the stunning surroundings with a boat trip and water sports.

Singapore

Another street circuit, this time at Singapore’s Marina Bay, this is the original F1 night race and is must-visit for any Formula One fan. Taking place on Sunday, 2nd October, this would be the perfect time to treat yourself to a hospitality package for the event and make the most of your time there.

In addition to the action on the track, there’s a wealth of ways to keep yourself busy in this compact sovereign island city-state, and arty Singapore certainly has a lot to show off. From the high-end Marina Bay Sands – a uniquely designed hotel with attractions galore – to Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore Flyer, Art and Science Museum, Singapore Zoo and so much more, this is certainly a place worth staying a little longer to explore.

Mexico

Head to the bustling metropolis of Mexico City to take in the main event at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday, 30th October and stay on to spot a selection of historical sights (including the 13th century Aztec Temple), eat the tastiest foods, visit as many museums as you can from the choice of over 100 options, and take in the local culture, history and vibrancy of this unforgettable destination.

Italy

Just 45 minutes north of Milan – Italy’s style conscious northern city – the Grand Prix at Monza is a fantastic race to take in if you want to explore the surrounding area after the winner has had their Champagne moment on the podium. The big race takes place on September 11th which makes it a great time of year to roam around the region in search of some late summer sun.

Nearby Milan provides a wealth of opportunity to blend fine dining with excellent shopping experiences and art, culture and history too. Extend your stay with a trip to one of the glorious lakes; get a glimpse of Leonardo’s da Vinci’s mural, The Last Supper; indulge in a food course; check out the local vineyards; wander the cobbled streets of beautiful Bergamo and experience the best of this area of northern Italy can offer.

Japan

A fascinating country that should be visited at least once, Japan has everything from ancient religious structures to super speedy trains, cat cafés to stunning natural sights, mouth-watering food to Manga and so much more. While taking in the Grand Prix (this year’s main event takes place on the 9th of October) at the Suzuka Circuit, why not take the opportunity to stay a little longer, seeing as you’ve travelled so far, and explore the surrounding area?

Notable nearby cities to the track include Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, while Tokyo is a must if it’s your first visit. Nagoya’s highlights include a castle, aquarium, science museum, the Atsuta Jingu shrine, and much more, while Kyoto is known for its historic shrines, temples, castle and Nishiki Market. Osaka is famed for its bustling nightlife, must-visit restaurants and Osaka Castle, while capital city Tokyo has everything you could need from an action-packed trip.
