My car of choice
The car I adore is my convertible F Type Jaguar. They are the ‘little black dress’ of cars – super stylish and eternally en vogue.
My favourite holiday destination
I detox in Turkey every year for a dose of TLC and vitamin D, and this is certainly one destination we all need to support at the moment. I also adore the Lone Star Hotel and Restaurant in Barbados. It’s the perfect blend of luxury with a relaxed Caribbean vibe, and is set on a beautiful white sand beach, bliss.
My gadget I can’t live without
This has got to be my iPhone. It enables me to work from anywhere in the world and keep in close contact with all my suppliers; absolutely invaluable in the events business. But it also provides instant access to my social media (I’m a bit addicted to Instagram) and allows me to video call my grandkids whenever I want, two of whom live in New York!
My go to fashion brand
I am a Loewe girl mixed with H+M. I love my shoes and bags and with the right shoes a girl can conquer the world.
My airline of choice
Got to be the nation’s carrier BA – flying in business class to Barbados, of course!
My favourite watch brand
It has to be Rolex. 30 years ago, with my first dividend, I bought myself one which I’ve given to my granddaughter for when she is 16. They say your jeweller of choice is a reflection of yourself; so true in this case!
My favourite restaurant
Got to be Asia at the Ivy in Manchester. Delicious food, impeccable service levels and a gorgeous atmosphere. The Wagyu sirloin with black garlic and truffle is to die for.
My guilty pleasure
Champagne and caviar.
My favourite way to give back
Inspiring others and helping them to succeed is the legacy I hope I will leave. It was the motivation behind writing my biography Taylor Made, which is now available as an audio book. If the book inspires one person to rise above those tough moments and learn to enjoy the good times it will have been worth it.
