La Festa, Phu Quoc
Set to open on April 15, La Festa, Phu Quoc is the much anticipated new offering from the Curio Collection, by Hilton. Overlooking the western coast of this paradisiacal island, the hotel’s design has been inspired by Italy’s famed Amalfi Coast, resulting in a stunning, elegant and contemporary finish throughout.
Complete with its own wellness centre, state-of-the-art spa and private beach area of golden sand, the property encompasses everything guests could possibly need to truly unwind and relax, in between exploring the enchanting island of Phu Quoc.
The new complex is expected to have 197 rooms in total and will be located just 20 km from Phu Quoc International Airport, making it a convenient option.
The Anam, Mui Ne
The Anam, Mui Ne, which celebrated its grand opening on Vietnam’s stunning south coast on January 11, is one of the most exciting new hotel openings in the destination for 2023. The hotel is following in the footsteps of The Anam, Cam Ranh, which has received some of the industry’s highest accolades, including the title of one of Asia’s top resorts in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers Choice Awards in 2021 and 2020, and also LLM’s own Readers’ Travel Awards in 2021.
The hotel, which has been decorated in an Indo-Chinese style, pays homage to classic Vietnamese aesthetics. Perfectly situated, the resort overlooks one of southern Vietnam’s most stunning white sand beaches and provides sweeping views across the East Sea.
The resort’s 127 rooms and suites are all nestled perfectly into lush greenery which opens up into views of the ocean, the resort’s swimming pools and Mui Ne town.
The culinary experiences are second-to-none and include an all-day dining restaurant and grill, beachside restaurant and bar, Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar and the elegant Saigon Bar in the lobby.
Alongside the communal swimming pools, the on-site Anam Spa is the perfect place for guests who are seeking some downtime and relaxation or, for those who are more adventurous, the resort offers opportunities for kitesurfing, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, bodyboarding, and surfing at Mui Ne beach.

Gran Meliá, owned and developed by the Meliá International Hotel Group, is due to open in 2023, and will expand the group’s footprint in the country to 15 properties.

Gran Meliá Nha will feature a total of 96 idyllic and luxurious beach front villas, and will also house an eclectic mixture of international dining options, relaxing wellness facilities, swimming pools and more.
The carefully thought out location of the property will allow guests the opportunity to visit the main attractions of the area which, alongside the many beaches, include the famous Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda and Bo Ho Waterfall.
Sol by Meliá, Cam Ranh Bay
Looking towards the end of 2023, Sol by Melia is due to open along the golden shores of Vietnam’s south central coast. In addition to the 816 bedrooms, there will also be an additional 40 villas and 29 bungalows within the grounds of the hotel, facing towards the white sands of Cam Ranh Bay, for those seeking privacy and seclusion.
The hotel’s spa is undoubtedly set to be one of the highlighting features of the property. With 12-treatment rooms, it will serve as a wellness oasis at the centre of one of the largest ponds within the grounds, connected only by foot bridge and with unique massage bungalows spanning out above the water from the spa’s centre.
