By Grace Cunningham   |

2015 saw a whole host of models unveiled by the world’s top luxury car manufacturers and here at Luxury Lifestyle Magazine we’ve cherry picked our top 5 to whet your appetite for the year ahead.

First up, it’s the hotly anticipated first luxury compact SUV convertible, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. After winning the hearts of many with its beautiful silhouette, the Evoque has firmly cemented its place in the ranks as one of the most coveted Range Rover models and the convertible model is set to bolster its reputation. Available from Spring 2016 from a starting price of £47,500 it is definitely to strongly imprint on the market.

Ready to roar? The McLaren 675LT Spider, limited to just 500 models, not only will satisfy those inner racer cravings but by purchasing the 675LT Spider you will join an elite club of just 499 others. Representing the historic long tail name, this model will definitely be a collectors item for the history loving owner.

Next up it’s time to hit the turbo with the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S, set to revolutionise the 911 experience. With advanced technologies and the option to choose convertible models the 911 securely makes our list of ‘can’t-wait’ models. Due to become available at the end of January 2016, beginning at £126,925 (Turbo ) or £154,614 (Turbo S Cabriolet), we won’t have to wait long to see these eye catching models hit the British roads.

Time to Turbo with the Porsche 911.
911 Turbo S is one of our hot picks for luxury models due for 2016 delivery.

Now for the showstopper, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster. Similar to the McLaren 675LT Spider, it is also limited to just 500 units and claims to the purest, most sports-oriented and fastest series production model Lamborghini have ever made. Now that’s a way to tease us. Set for early 2016 release and available from 357,000.00 Euros (excl.VAT) luckily we don’t have long to wait to get our hands on one!

Finally, an electric vehicle that promises to banish the fears of an ‘uncool’ electric vehicle will be available during 2016 from electric market leaders, Tesla Motors. The Model X features luxurious elements including the Falcon wing doors that work with auto-present technology removing the need to touch the door to open, whilst also using the most advanced technology Tesla have presented to date. We can’t wait to watch this model develop and push the boundaries further of electric vehicles.
