Sir Hardy Amies remains one of the most important post war names of British fashion and is most well known for dressing the Queen. In 1946 he opened his couture house at No.14 Savile Row as well as publishing his influential 1964 ABC of Men’s Fashion book- a style guide that established his credentials as a fashion expert and opinionated arbiter of good taste.

Although Sir Hardy is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the collection today that still holds his name. Today, in Britain, there is an interplay between the generations in terms of style. Think between town and country, heritage and technology and between tailoring and casualwear. Menswear is now dynamic and more fluid than ever before. Hardy Amies reflects this by making smart, functional menswear that is at home in Mayfair as it is in Dalston. The look is modern and stylish.
