With 305 modern rooms including 11 plush suites, all well-equipped with amenities and facilities required by a business or a leisure traveler, the hotel is built over six acres of beautifully landscaped area. I was pleasantly surprised to see this sprawling hotel with various facilities as I was expecting a business hotel with minimalistic decor and limited facilities.
My well equipped suite offered an excellent view of the swimming pool which is surrounded by lush greenery in an aesthetically designed area. This green zone of the hotel also serves as a rejuvenation area with its own sprawling pool deck and a special Kiddie pool for children. The Executive Chef Gundala Venkata Ramesh organized for a fabulous five course meal at lunch at an elegantly set up table near the pool.
For those who wish to relax and rejuvenate, the hotel offers a spa and a salon manned by efficient therapists who work away a guest’s stress levels. In the evening I decided to spend an hour at the spa to relax before heading for dinner to the Indian restaurant called Haldi. Inspired by and named after one of the most popular spices in Indian cuisine, Haldi is Novotel Hyderabad Airport’s Indian Specialty Restaurant open only for dinner.
With a rustic ambience and efficient service, Haldi showcases culinary gems such as Tandoori Pomfret, boti kabab, bharwan tandoori kumbh in the starter section. The paya shorba is to die for and was bursting with flavours, in the main course it is a good idea to try the Hyderabadi Biyani, Nalli khaas and Haleem which were cooked to perfection.
