But now, Bryl has turned her expertise and creative brilliance to a new venture, her personally formulated Vitamin C anti-aging skincare line rightfully named Nicole Bryl Skincare. This niche, all handcrafted collection has quickly gained attention and is fast becoming a favorite amongst haute society.
1. NICOLE, HOW DID YOUR SKINCARE LINE COME TO BE?
NICOLE: After three decades in the beauty business I wanted a skincare formula that was concentrated with anti-aging properties but not thinned down with chemicals and over loaded with strong fragrances which I’m highly sensitive to. When I turned 42, I wanted elements that would blast my skin in a much stronger way than the products that were being sent to me. My favorite ingredient for years had been Vitamin C proven to maintain ones youthful appearance for life, so, as many have done before, I submerged myself into my kitchen for four months and began mixing. The formulas I created (four for the face and two for the body) were all intended for just myself, but after just one week of using these hand crafted formulas my clients began to notice and they wanted in. Now at 45, and after three years of using my products everyday I can confidently report that infact they work exactly how I intended them to, with the intension to grow older gracefully while maintaining a natural age defying look and am so happy with the way my skin looks and feels from head to toe.
2. ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS ARE HAND CRAFTED BY YOU, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE ONE ITEM?
NICOLE: Well for example my Face Lifting Water requires 46 hours to create and is formulated and handmade through a 12-whip purification technique I created, this adds a certain type of milky consistency which feels so soothing to the skin yet still combats againg. Because of this intensive process, I can only produce a limited number of batches at a time so there’s typically a 6-week waiting list to receive any of the six products. The Tightening MASK takes 32 hours to create and literally blasts your skin with concentrated Vitamin C making skin appear six years younger in two minutes flat. My hand-crushed Smoothing SCRUB not only tightens, exfoliates and smooths skin like you’ve never felt before, it can also be effective at drying up light break outs. And my Perfecting Serum (which I always use on clients before I do their makeup) locks in the efficacy of this “four minute anti-aging treatment” as the final step. I quickly discovered that when used in tandem every day, these hand crafted Vitamin C products create a skin-rejuvenating effect that improves collagen for firmer skin, while reducing wrinkles and restoring radiance.

NICOLE: I’m a born and bred New Yorker,” we like to get straight to the point — and fast. Not even in our wildest day dreams do we have time to luxuriate all day long; we all lead very fast-paced, productive lives. But we all want the effects of what a day of pampering can bring us – to look young and rejuvenated. I wanted something for my own skin that was straight-to-the-point, no-nonsense effective, yet still embodied the purest feeling a day of relaxation could bring me, in about 4 minutes sharp! I’m in love with my six products because they flat out work. After 30 years in the beauty business I am extraordinarily pleased to be using these products on myself and my stunning clients and I’m elated to now be expanding them to the rest of the world to enjoy too.
6. HOW CAN CUSTOMERS PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS?
NICOLE: Currently Nicole Bryl® Skincare is sold exclusively online at nicolebrylskincare.com in the United States, but how we have been handling over-seas orders is when overseas customers place an advance order online, upon arriving to NYC the items would then be messengered and delivered directly to their hotels for pick up. Since it’s still a custom made to order business I have not wanted to bring it to a factory for mass production yet. This keeps each product made very rare and very special and for a moment I’d like to keep it that way. In time we will be expanding to limited cities in europe. Berlin and Zurich being the first two locations, but this is still a work in progress.
