Four & five AA rosette award winners revealed

Three restaurants have been presented with five rosettes at the coveted AA Hospitality Awards 2017.

The iconic Gidleigh Park in Devon, Bohemia Restaurant in Jersey and Ynyshir in Powys were all awarded the top marks for food and service.

Ten restaurants, meanwhile, were presented with four rosettes.

Five rosettes are awarded to restaurants which the AA describes as “the finest” in the UK where cooking “stands comparison with the best in the world”. Four rosettes are presented where the cooking “demands national recognition”.

Two hotels – Bovey Castle in Devon, and Coworth Park in Berkshire – were also awarded five red AA stars, which is the highest accommodation rating under the AA scheme.
