New to the hotel just this year and orbiting a queen-sized bed is a smart plasma TV it also offers those who book an in-room pool towel service and organic beach bag and is a room that instantly makes those who enter feel at ease. Other room categories include the entry level Beach House Rooms, Xtra Relax Beach House Rooms, the Beach House Xtra Junior Suite and the Beach House Xtra Suite – featuring a king-sized bed, lounge area, and a sun lounger in the VIP pool area.
Overall, Sol Beach House cannot be positioned as a high-end luxury hotel for the often picky and discerning traveller but is rather a place for those ultimately looking for a fun filled break and aren’t too fussy about much else. This however doesn’t take away from the hotel’s cheeky and laisse-affair character and is well positioned for those looking to explore the different elements to the island. Conveniently located with access to the third largest town on the island – Santa Eulalia, the area has its own marina, small boutiques, restaurants and bars on the beachfront. The palm lined promenade that runs along the wide beach also features some of Ibiza’s most popular bars, restaurants and art galleries.
When it comes to food, The Buffet Restaurant is the breakfast destination – this is honestly basic, however, with a wide selection each day. Within the garden and overlooking the ocean, in the evenings the restaurant showcases an array of different cuisines from all over the world, including Balearic, Asian and Mexican and live music is played most days. For all-day dining and poolside snacking is Sol Shack Chiringuito. Dishing up tapas, bar snacks, cocktails and smoothies, the menu can be enjoyed across the pool area.
