Disney on Ice celebrates 100 years of magic

By Caroline Cooper   |

Disney will always hold wonderful memories for me. It takes me back to holidaying with my family when I was a little girl. I still remember being awestruck at the razzmatazz, the magic, the fireworks, the music. Everything about the Disney story transports you from reality to a world that’s simply, magnificent.

Now that I have a little girl of my own, who dreams of being a princess, what better way to make her dream come true (even if only it’s only for an hour so) than celebrating 100 years of Magic with Disney on Ice. With 50 characters taking to the stage, it’s guaranteed that your little one’s favourite is sure to be amongst them.

With stunning choreography, unforgettable costumes, and songs that will make you laugh and cry happy tears – the production takes you from the heart of Africa with Disney’s The Lion King, to the magical Kingdom of Arendelle from Frozen and Anna’s journey up the North Mountain with her hilarious sidekick Olaf.

For little girls like mine, they can watch in awe as Belle breaks the Beast’s curse in the beautiful tale of Beauty and the Beast. Disney has pulled out all the stops this year as Forky from Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4 makes his stage debut.

So, if like us, you love seeing the magic in your children’s eyes, or you just love a world-class production like no other, then join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and friends as they take to the ice to honour the legacy of Walt Disney.

But it doesn’t stop there, as I’m fully aware that little boys and girls alike love all type of production. So, if you little super hero thinks of himself as a little stuntman who can save the galaxy, then Marvel Universe LIVE! Is back. From Spider-man to The Avengers and The Guardians of the Galaxy the stunt packed production will leave you on the edge of your seats with this thrill-seeking adventure.
