But nonetheless, this historic and iconic hotel, located at the heart of Las Vegas’ dazzling bright lights has managed to retain an allure all of its own.

The casino
This unique establishment brings you all of the glitz, glamour and excitement you’d expect from one in the casino capital of the world, but its unique ancient Roman feel sets it well apart from the masses. Having long been a playground for the rich and famous, here you can enjoy a range of adrenaline-fuelled slots and table games, from roulette to poker, blackjack to baccarat – all whilst rubbing shoulders with high-rollers and local celebrities alike. The Caesars Palace Casino certainly doesn’t do things by halves, and with an exciting race and sports book and lavish surroundings, it’s a charmed place to spend an evening whilst you’re visiting this electrifying city.
The hotel
If you’re looking for sophistication, you won’t have to look very far and with 4,000 luxurious guest rooms located across 6 towers, this sizeable resort is a hive of activity, year-round. Even so, its rooms offer unrivalled opulence, with beautiful, hand-picked soft furnishings featuring throughout and pristine marble bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and WiFi access making a comfortable stay a certainty.
Many of the rooms have been renovated in recent years, too – so despite this being a historic hotel, much of it has been brought well up to date. Even so, it still retains its ancient Roman feel – though perhaps with a little more polish than before.
The dining
With a range of dining options available, the Caesars Palace Casino Hotel is a mecca for foodies, with choices including cuisine cooked up by celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Guy Savoy and Nobu Matsuhisa. The Old Homestead Steakhouse is an all-round favourite, and the latest incarnation of the New York favourite of the same name. Its dark, sultry décor and wooden interiors make for a cosy evening’s dining – and, we have to admit, the food is pretty good, too.
The hotel is also home to the world’s first ever Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant – a must visit during your stay. Meanwhile, Pronto by Giada serves up classic Italian fare with a Californian twist, whilst Restaurant Guy Savoy offers that sought-after fine dining experience with a menu of delectable French cuisine.
Of course, at a hotel resort of this size, you’ll understand that this is just a taster of what’s on offer. Here, the range of dining options is something truly impressive – stay for a week, and you still won’t get through them all.
The entertainment
The 4,100-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace attracts world-class entertainers from across the globe, often featuring the likes of megastars such as Elton John, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion. Omnia nightclub is also worth a visit after dark – a great place to enjoy a cocktail or two, but be sure to wear those designer dancing shoes.
