Where to eat
Vegas’ culinary scene has improved immensely since its early days. Now, guests will find celebrity chefs and imported rare snow beef, rather than steakhouses and red sauce joints. Pick a cuisine and, odds are, you’ll find it here, here are a few of our top picks for a world-class meal.
Head to MGM Grand for traditional French cuisine at Joel Robuchon. Diners will find a setting reminiscent of 1930s Paris and plates that have been awarded Michelin stars, year after year.
At Caesars Palace, diners will find Japanese cuisine from world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Indulge in A5 Japanese Wagyu, sushi, tempura, and teppanyaki-style dishes, all served in an earthy neutral-toned space. Another Michelin-starred establishment at Caesars Palace is Restaurant Guy Savoy, which boasts sweeping views of the Eiffel Tower and personalised table settings. The menu includes a range of Savoy’s signature dishes such as silky artichoke and black truffle soup.
If you find yourself near the Waldorf Astoria, head up to the 23rd floor to Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, a mixture of French and contemporary dining. The pinnacle here is the Lucky Number 7 tasting menu. Each menu is unique and based on the guest’s choice of wines.

At Crystals at City Centre, guests can shop until they drop, filling their bags with David Rockwell, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Tom Ford and more. It also offers restaurants from Wolfgang Puck to Mastro’s Ocean Club – perfect for refuelling.
For an ultimate luxury shopping experience, Via Bellagio houses a collection of the most high-end stores in the world, including Armani and Gucci. The hotel’s conservatory and botanical gardens boast some rather unique shops, such as Dale Chihuly, offering colourful glass art and sculptures from the artist. If you’re hunting for a fantastic retail destination, Fashion Show Mall has Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and more under one roof.
One of the most attractive shopping destinations is in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. Here, visitors will find a canal that runs up the centre of the shopping area, in addition to cobblestone walkways, illuminated painted ceilings and the chance to hop on a gondola. The centre also offers big name brands such as Tory Burch, Burberry, and Michael Kors.
