Celebrating its launch today, Narla is a new online platform that offers customers the opportunity to create their own personalised artworks, or shop from a curated selection, at the click of a button.
Narla was established by Jonathon Lambert and Warren Few who have over 35 years experience between them in supplying architectural metalwork to the construction industry. Twelve months ago, Warren began to toy with the idea of personalised art made through the media of metalwork and saw a gap in the market for creating unique, hand-crafted artworks which led to Narla being born.
Manufactured from steel, and designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, the artworks are produced using cutting-edge technology that takes a hand-drawn stencil which is then laser cut onto metal art panels. Unlike other metal art manufacturers that use computer scanning technology, Narla utilises real artists for its ranges, meaning that each piece is truly created by hand.
With the personalised service, customers can upload a photograph or design to the website and Narla’s in-house team of artists will bring their vision to life. There are a range of sizes and colour finishes to choose from, with the option to illuminate the artwork with integrated premium LED lights too, with prices starting from £685. With the Signature collection, customers can select from a range of in-house designed artworks.
Intended for interiors as well as the garden, the works are available in either a painted steel or Cor-ten steel which rusts on the outside and offers a contemporary look for your outside space. The Signature collection is limited edition and the collection will be updated on a regular basis, and prices start from £590.
Warren Few, co-founder of Narla, said: “From wanting a piece of personalised pet art for myself, the journey has been long but fulfilling. After carrying out extensive research and development, and employing a team of talented artists, we now offer a range of art products all made from metal.
“Alongside the Personalised range and Signature range, we also offer our commissioned service, whereby customers can consult with us to produce a completely bespoke design. It is fair to say that the team are all very proud of what has been achieved to date and excited for the product to hit the market.”
