We caught up with Sif Saga, an Icelandic born, Boston raised model that has graced campaigns for esteemed brands such as Estee Lauder, Ralph Lauren and Kendra Scott. Sif is also an aspiring actress gearing up for her big screen debut in Indie thriller Feral State in which she stars alongside Annalynne Mccord. Feral State is set to release in May 2021.
My car of choice
If I could pick any car it would have to be the Bentley Continental GT with a black exterior and burgundy interior. In my opinion it’s a sexy car, a little badass, but still timeless; a car like this is an investment, I don’t think it will ever go out of style.
My favourite holiday destination
I absolutely love going to Florence in the summer. The history is amazing, food is to die for, and I always come back feeling more rejuvenated than when I left. If you ever find yourself there, the four seasons in Florence is breath-takingly beautiful with a relaxing pool in their garden. I love it so much there that I imagine myself getting married there, but that’s not happening anytime soon.
My gadget I can’t live without
My phone, I go everywhere with my phone – it’s a little unfortunate but I feel naked without it. I use my phone to get me wherever I need to go, either using Lyft or to pay for my train ticket. Maintaining a social media presence is also important for my work and it’s how a lot of people I work with communicate, without my phone I wouldn’t be able to do my job properly.
My go to fashion brand
For everyday wear, one of my favourite brands is Mother Denim and Zara to get some basic/simple pieces. However, if I could wear Dior every day I would, their pieces are all so beautiful and when I am dressing up a bit more, I always try to incorporate something from them.
My airline of choice
The best airline I’ve been on is Lufthansa. It’s always an enjoyable flight, the service is impeccable, I think that when you fly nowadays it’s not so much of an experience as it is getting from point A to point B. Flying, especially if you have to fly often, should be enjoyable, not stressful.
My favourite watch brand
I don’t own one, but I would love to have a watch from Cartier one day. All of their watches are beautiful and timeless, if you’re going to spend money on a watch then it should be one that you can wear every day and lasts for many years to come.
My favourite restaurant
It really depends on what I am in the mood for. I love food, I’m one of those people who lives to eat. I have two favourite restaurants here in New York, Bondst and Ll Mulino Prime in Soho – they’re both equally amazing in my opinion, just depends on if I’m in the mood for sushi or Italian.
My guilty pleasure
It’s a chocolate milk from Iceland, we call it Koko Mjolk. This was one of my favourite drinks as a kid and still when I go back I have one or two a day when I’m there. I don’t drink chocolate milk here in the US, but there is something about this chocolate milk that makes me so happy.
My favourite way to give back
If I see a human being that is homeless by a store, I ask what they would like and go and get it for them and take out a little bit of cash as well. More recently I found that what is most important is to strike up a conversation. Everyday thousands of people walk by someone who is homeless and try to avoid eye contact or step further away, I see it all the time. Could you imagine if you were all by yourself with no family or support, yet alone strangers can’t even give you the time of day to smile and say hello? Even if I am in a rush, I still always try to say hello and wish them a good day as I walk by.
