HARMAN technology took the opportunity to unveil their latest exciting partnerships at the Frankfurt International Motor Show last week with Maserati, Ferrari and BMW.
The Ferrari 488 GTB Spider features a state-of-the-art JBL professional premium sound system designed to create immersive sound through a total of 12 speakers accompanied by a 1280-watt, 16-channel JBL Professional Class-D high-performance amplifier. In addition it features QuantumLogic Surround (QLS) which provides a controlled sound quality created by innovate new audio algorithms.

Exclusively designed for the all-new BMW 7 Series Bowers & Wilkins unveiled the Diamond Surround Sound System, featuring core transducer technologies in the form of Kevlar® midrange drive units and Rohacell® bass drivers. Other innovative technologies used include autilus spiral diffusers, a technology derived from Bowers & Wilkins iconic Nautilus loudspeaker to provide a crystal clear, refreshingly smooth audio experience.
Working with the BMW engineering teams the Bowers & Wilkins team set ahead of creating an audio system fit for purpose in the luxurious interior. Each speaker has been individually placed for premium acoustics accompanied by the Fibonacci patterned holes that not only optimise the acoustic levels but blend effortlessly into the interior.
The Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System is exclusively available as a premium option with the all-new BMW 7 Series.
HARMAN also unveiled an expansion of their collaboration with Maserati providing the Quattroporte and Ghibli model lines with Harman Kardon® premium sound to select vehicles. The Harman Kardon sound system adds richness and depth to the audio whilst the Italian craftsmanship creates powerful architecture combining to perfectly balance the tones for the sophisticated driver.
