The Ferrari Portofino is the all new V8 GT set to dominate its segment thanks to a perfect combination of sportiness, elegance and on board comfort.
Ferrari has chosen a particularly evocative moniker for this exceptionally versatile drop-top car, referencing one of Italy’s most beautiful towns. Portofino is renowned for its charming tourist port and, over the years, has become internationally synonymous with elegance, sportiness and understated luxury.
The company released photos of its new convertible, which will officially be unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September.
The Ferrari Portofino has a 550 horsepower engine, putting its top speed at almost 200 miles per hour. As an extra perk, designers enhanced the engine’s sound so drivers can enjoy it with the roof down.
The Portofino is an entry-level Ferrari, but its price tag is still expected to be about $200,000.
