Lexus is amplifying the award-winning design of its LC flagship coupe in a new Limited Edition model, available to order from Lexus retailers now.
An exclusive new Terrane Khaki exterior finish sets off the car’s seductive lines, giving a subtle depth of colour that complements every curve and angle of the bodywork. A set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels with a two-tone finish adds to the effect.
The interior is equally striking, thanks to the combination of contrasting leathers for the trim and seat upholstery. The 10-way power-adjustable seats are covered in soft, highest-grade L-aniline leather in Saddle Tan with a slightly darker tone used for Alcantara door panel inserts. The steering wheel, dashboard, centre console and door panels are finished in Black Amber leather. Brown stitching links the two finishes and highlights the Lexus takumi precision craftsmanship.
The finishing touch for each Limited Edition model is the customised scuff plates, with a laser-cut design inspired by the geometric shapes of the LC’s rear brake lights.
The luxury equipment specification mirrors the regular LC, with the inclusion of a colour head-up display. Key features include Lexus Safety System+, Lexus Premium Navigation, 13-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Product audio system, dual-zone climate control with nanoe technology and Climate Concierge, glass roof and aluminium sports pedals.
In terms of technology and performance, the LC Limited Edition matches the existing models in the range. The LC 500h is powered by the world’s first self-charging Multi Stage Hybrid System, taking driver rewards to a higher level than ever before in a hybrid Lexus. The system features a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and compact but powerful electric motor that together deliver 354bhp and 348 Nm of torque. Nought to 62mph can be accomplished in five seconds.
The LC 500 Limited Edition is powered by Lexus’s 32-valve 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, giving 457bhp and 530Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from standstill to 62mph in 4.7 seconds.
The LC Limited Edition models are available to order now, with prices being announced shortly. Deliveries to customers will start in November 2019.
