Unmatched personalisation

Bentley’s Mulliner division allows selected clients to co-create their Batur Convertible, ensuring that each car is a unique reflection of its owner’s personality. Using the specially designed Mulliner visualiser, clients can customise every aspect of their vehicle, from the exterior paint to the interior finishes. The Batur Convertible offers unprecedented personalisation options, including bespoke paint colours, unique material choices, and intricate detailing such as the ‘airbridge’ and Rose Gold interior accents.

Iconic W12 engine

Each Batur Convertible will be among the last Bentleys to feature the iconic 750PS W12 engine. This 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine, hand-assembled and celebrated for its performance, marks the end of an era for Bentley. The W12 engine has been a cornerstone of Bentley’s success, delivering exceptional power and performance for over two decades.

Design and craftsmanship

The Batur Convertible’s design is a harmonious blend of the Bacalar and Batur models, featuring a two-seat configuration and a retractable roof that transforms the car from a luxurious coupe into an open-top Grand Tourer in just 19 seconds. The wraparound cockpit design, dramatic airbridge behind the seats, and tapered cowls at the rear evoke the spirit of classic barchetta sports cars while providing modern functionality.

Innovative use of materials

Mulliner’s designers have pushed the boundaries of material innovation with the Batur Convertible. The interior features luxurious materials like the new rayon fabric made from bamboo, known as Duality Twill. This fabric is meticulously embroidered with up to 2.2 million stitches, creating a unique and tactile experience. Clients can also choose from a variety of finishes for the exterior brightware, including light and dark, satin or gloss, and even titanium.

Bespoke detailing

The Batur Convertible offers highly exclusive options for bespoke detailing. One standout feature is the 3D printed rose gold accents, crafted in collaboration with expert goldsmiths from Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. These accents include key driver touchpoints like the Bentley Drive Mode Selector and Organ Stop vent controls, adding a touch of refined luxury to the vehicle’s interior.

Exclusive production

Each Batur Convertible will be handcrafted over several months at Mulliner’s workshop in Bentley’s carbon-neutral factory in Crewe, England. The production is limited to just 16 pieces, ensuring that each vehicle is a rare and exclusive masterpiece. The W12 engine, in its most potent form, delivers 750 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, paired with Bentley’s eight-speed double-clutch transmission and a titanium sports exhaust system.

Engineering excellence

The Batur Convertible’s engineering excellence is highlighted by its revised intake system, upgraded turbochargers, and new intercoolers. These enhancements, along with extensive recalibration, enable the W12 engine to produce nearly 40 per cent more power while improving fuel economy by 25 per cent. The titanium exhaust system and 3D-printed titanium finishers add to the vehicle’s performance and aesthetic appeal.

Batur Convertible Car #0

The engineering development car, Batur Convertible Car #0, showcases the same level of detail and craftsmanship as a customer’s bespoke specification. It features a unique Vermillion Gloss over Vermillion Satin Duo tone paintwork, accented by high gloss carbon fibre components. The grille, finished in Gloss Dark Titanium with contrast chevrons, and the 22” wheels with Gloss and Satin Black Titanium spokes and Vermillion Gloss accents, underscore the vehicle’s contemporary and vibrant design.

The Batur Convertible represents the pinnacle of Bentley’s commitment to luxury, performance, and personalisation. As one of the last Bentleys to feature the iconic W12 engine, this model is a celebration of Bentley’s rich heritage and a testament to Mulliner’s craftsmanship.
