Traditional is found to be the future for wedding cars

Wedding cars have, traditionally, been Rolls Royce and Bentley models or similar luxury cars. However, according to Studio434, one of the UK’s largest collections of classic cars available to hire for weddings and special occasions, there is a growing trend towards hiring older, less traditional classic cars for that special day.

The company has a vast collection of cars representing motoring over  the past  nine decades, many more of these cars are now being rented out for bride and groom transport to the from the church. In recent months, the company has supplied a unique Aston Martin Lagonda “Wedge” and a Jensen Interceptor S Type  for the happy day.

“We are detecting a growing trend and an increasing number of requests for a different type of wedding car,” said Studio434’s general manager Luis Santos.

He added: “I think that today’s bride and groom are shunning traditional Rolls Royce and Bentley models for more unusual transport. We are able, of course, to offer very late Rolls Royce and Bentley models, including the Wraith, but it seems that today’s modern, soon to be married couple, really like  the idea of arriving and leaving the church in a different, more personal and unusual form of transport.

“Also, in certain circumstances, we have supplied the bride to be with the appropriate luxury mode of transport and for the bridegroom, who occasionally wish to also arrive in style, and made available such exotic as a Ferrari or Maserati.”

Studio434 has the most exclusive and varied range of classic car models in the UK, representing iconic cars from the early 1900’s to the present day. The collection has been acquired by Studio434 owner Rodger Dudding, a serial collector and connoisseur of classic cars for the past 25 years.
