With a new nationwide lockdown in place in the UK, the time has come again to embrace the stove and all it can offer, and fortunately we are blessed with an array of exciting meal kits to help us do this. So, whether you are looking for the best meal kits for weight loss or you’re craving some Michelin Star food in your home, or maybe you’re embracing a vegan diet this month, we have you covered.

Vegan comfort food with Dirty Vegan

Dirty Vegan, the sister to London’s favourite New York comfort food brand, Dirty Bones have partnered with Beyond Meat, Vida Bakery and MEDA CBD Drinks to create an exclusive, plant-based kit. The Ultimate Vegan Comfort kit is available for nationwide delivery for just £42 (serves two) and with its launch, Dirty Vegan hopes to cement the notion that clean-eating needn’t be limiting.

The kit for two includes everything needed to make a Dirty Vegan spread: two vegan chilli cheeseburgers (Beyond Meat patties) with vegan American cheeses, vegan buns, relish, pickled jalapenos, jalapeno dressing, red onions, gherkins and skinny fries. Drinks to accompany this epic meal kit include a bottle of Espresso Medatini and two cans of MEDA Functional CBD drinks. For sweets, a pack of Vida Bakery, Cookie Tho ready-to-bake cookies, meaning diners can sit back and enjoy clean-conscience, vegan cookies hot out of the oven.

Each box includes instructions and recipe cards so you can prepare the ultimate Veganuary feast, this January.

Michelin-starred dining with Aquavit London

Aquavit London’s brand-new DIY delivery kits will be available nationwide from 7th January, and you can choose from a meat, fish or vegetarian Nordic feast delivered straight to your door.

Head chef Jorjon Colazo has created three exciting seasonal sharing menus that are sure to impress. Designed for two to share, choose from the meat box (£80), pescatarian box (£90) or vegetarian box (£60). Simply heat, plate and present the food and you’re ready to go. Expect delights such as black pudding with lardo and pulled venison bao buns; Aquavit’s signature Swedish meatballs with lingonberries and pickled cucumber; Houghton Springs Trout with Sandefjord sauce; and braised chicory with chestnut purée and warm quinoa salad.

Orders need to be placed by 11pm on a Tuesday and will be sent out each Wednesday to arrive on Thursday. As a 2021 treat, those who order in January will be in with the chance of winning a set lunch for two for when the restaurant reopens for dine-in.

Positive physical and mental wellbeing with The Pure Package

London’s premier gourmet meal delivery service, The Pure Package, has introduced a special meal plan for January designed to inspire physical and mental wellbeing. Created by award-winning chefs and nutritionists, the package will deliver a personalised and daily changing menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as snacks, that is rich in pre- and probiotics and fibre to keep the microbiome of the digestive tract healthy.

Utilising a scientific approach to ensure that clients receive the correct balance of proteins, carbohydrates and essential fats to help them achieve their health goals, The Positivity Package will include dishes such as raw buckwheat, mixed berries, walnut and apple porridge; scrambled egg, roasted tomato and chives with organic rye bread; miso cod with sesame wild rice, kale and carrot stir fry; and chocolate beetroot and hazelnut brownie with crème fraiche.

The Pure Package offers a 10, 30, and 90-day meal programme starting from £39.95 per day, with daily deliveries to all postcodes falling within the M25, plus a select few around it.

Weight loss encouragement with Love Yourself

A bountiful vegetarian brunch with Haya

HAYA restaurant, the Mediterranean restaurant with Israeli influence in Notting Hill, has launched a new vegetarian pancake brunch kit. Uniquely the kit will contain everything needed to make a Lahooh Pancake with the option to include a Bloody Mary cocktail for a complete brunch set up at home.

A colourful feast of flavours, the Lahooh pancake base is pillowy-soft combined with chunky roasted vegetables, silky smoked labaneh and green tahini with sweet pickled onions and pepper tapenade. It’s easy to put together; simply heat and build!

This vegetarian brunch kit includes a pancake base, mixed roasted vegetables (cauliflower, sweet potato, broccoli), mixed herb salad, smoked labaneh, green tahini, pepper tapenade, pickled red onions, pomegranate seeds, all for £20, or with a Bloody Mary cocktail for a total price of £30. Currently the brunch kit is available for delivery within London.
