Swingers City and Swingers West End – the capital’s two finest destinations for a combination of street food, premium cocktails and civilised sporting competition are returning with its exciting Swingers Open 2018: in the form of London’s only crazy golf tournament. Following a successful 2017 tournament, the crazy golf specialists have partnered up with Tanqueray No.TEN for Londoners to battle one another on the course for the title of the city’s crazy golf champions.
Held at both Swingers City and the newly opened Swingers West End, there is a choice of course and therefore jumps, loops and moving obstacles to take on. Mirroring that of a professional golf competition, there’ll be branding throughout the courses and a caddie on every single hole to count each player’s score. Winners of the grand final also have the opportunity to be awarded a trip for four to New York, complete with flights and 2 nights stay at the brand-new luxury Hoxton Hotel in Brooklyn.
The Hoxton, Williamsburg – opening in September 2018 – is located in Brooklyn, on the site of the former Rosenwach factory, the maker of the iconic wooden water towers that scatter the New York skyline. The hotel will have 175 rooms, three restaurants and a rooftop with incredible views of Manhattan – the perfect spot to enjoy a Tanqueray No.TEN and tonic and toast a crazy golfing triumph.
For an alternative night out, Swingers are looking for teams of four to compete in a series of heats throughout July – September 2018. The winning team from each round will progress to the semi-final, and if they score highly enough, to the Grand Final for the headline prize. An entry fee of £20 per person secures a place in the tournament and each player will receive a Tanqueray No.TEN and tonic on arrival. Swinger’s popular street food vendors will also be available to purchase throughout the evening including Patty&Bun, Pizza Pilgrims, Breddos, DF/Mexico, Made of Dough and Hackney Gelato (dependent on which location you’re playing at).
