Two cocktail bars in one, Heads + Tails in West Hampstead revolves around the concept of juxtaposing cocktail and drinking concepts against each other. Each serving creative cocktails which reflect their surroundings and adapt to the changing seasons and time of day, ‘Heads’ is a light and airy ground floor bar finished with pastel hues, touches of gold and a marble topped bar. Hidden away downstairs, this is set alongside ‘Tails’ – an atmospheric bar which features a beautiful solid wood bar with cocktails to match.

Ramping up its food offering each weekend, this spring Heads + Tails launched a new brunch menu. Designed to allow weekend brunch guests to tailor their plate for a bespoke brunch offering, this new small plates menu includes dishes such as charcoal sourdough with scrambled eggs, a house bean mix, braised shiitake mushrooms, spicy smashed avocado as well as a protein plate of merguez, chorizo and bacon for meat lovers.

With favourite brunch cocktails to compliment including bottomless prosecco and clementine mimosas, the team at Heads + Tails have also added in creative touches that are designed to kick off the weekend. These include the ‘West End Spritz’ which combines Suze and Aperol with aromatic clementine and bergamot cordial, topped up with effervescent soda and an ‘Apple Spritz’ of 30&40 Double Juas well as the elegant ‘Belsazar Rose’ – made with apple cordial, soda and prosecco.

Hidden away downstairs, this is set alongside ‘Tails’ – an atmospheric bar which features a beautiful solid wood bar with cocktails to match.

For the warmer months, Heads + Tails also has its own garden. Lined with leafy walls and cushion-topped seating, this hidden sun trap invites those who visit to spend the day and sip spritzes over brunch in the sunshine. In contrast to this, as the sunsets… visitors can venture downstairs to its moody antithesis for short, bold cocktail combinations made with bourbon, rum and Scotch at the Tails bar.

Coming together to combine their expertise in the hospitality industry, Will Partridge (Wax Jambu, Kilburn Ironworks) and Chris Dennis (Sovereign Loss, Disrepute) created Heads + Tails as a place to showcase their dynamism and creativity on both sides of the coin. Designed to offer two unique bars depending on your mood, they had a vision to creative an adeptly balanced, yet laid- back drinking destination to cater to the sophisticated set in West Hampstead.

With each level boasting its own private outdoor area, Heads + Tails is also available for private hire. The larger main garden on the ground floor can accommodate up to 60 people, while the smaller private outdoor area can accommodate up to 15.

This menu is designed to allow weekend brunch guests to tailor their plate for a bespoke brunch offering.
