Party with Peruvian cuisine at COYA Mayfair. Whilst during the week the restaurant opposite Green Park fills its tables with local professionals, each Saturday the party-pro restaurant ushers those looking to make the very most of their Saturday: from noon ‘til late.
Certifying each Saturday sparkles, COYA Mayfair has launched its new brunch: a glamourous afternoon dining experience allowing you to escape the ordinary. Entitled the ‘Soul Grandioso Brunch’ it is a blend of COYA’s signature vibrant dishes made with naturally light, fresh and colourful ingredients with ‘transcendental’ music.
Leaders in multi-sensory entertainment, the internationally acclaimed restaurant sparks its inspiration from the Incan heritage and Latin American culture. Award-winning experimentalists, COYA are masters of fusing traditional Peruvian dishes created using Japanese, Chinese and Spanish cooking techniques amongst the setting of bespoke hand-carved furnishings, Peruvian trinkets, and contemporary art.
Set to the soundtrack of its very own record label, between 12-6pm each Saturday afternoon, (with a Member’s Club after party from 4pm) the new brunch invites each guest to not only fill their stomachs, but ‘feed their souls’ with music from one of its resident DJs. An uplifting stream of house music mixed with disco and funk is teamed by soulful singers and dancers, dressed in gold outfits who perform choreographed shows to create an electrifying atmosphere allowing the day to drift into night.
Whilst the table-side entertainment unfolds, diners of the new Soul Grandioso Brunch indulge on a three-course menu, choosing from Veuve Clicquot or Dom Perignon champagne. This sits alongside the option to try COYA’s pyramid shots and shot wheel, whilst the interactive performers meander the tables, keeping diners on their toes as they go.
Those who champion COYA can continue to satisfy themselves with the restaurant’s favourite dishes. From crocantes con guacamole – created using bright and perfectly ripe avocados, to the smooth taco de salmón, fresh yellowfin tuna ceviche, Chilean sea bass with rice, lime and chilli and the beef sirloin with crispy shallots, aji limo and star anise. Meanwhile an extravagant dessert platter leaves the best until last for anyone with a sweet tooth. This lays on display a selection of colourful fruit, pastries and cakes with sugared churros and melted milk chocolate.
For those who fancy a taste of COYA beyond its brunch menu is the Private Members club afterparty. Where the resident DJs takes centre stage, continuing to spin the decks – expert mixologists keep the drinks flowing for a wild afternoon of food, fun and entertainment. The music played at the afterparty feeds back into COYA’s DNA, a key element of the brand that has grown over the years and meant that today it is proud to have its very own patented record label.
This year the international restaurant group is celebrating ten years of fun since the Mayfair flagship flew open its doors for the very first time back in 2012. Since then, it has launched a string of internationally acclaimed restaurants under its extravagant umbrella. From Monte Carlo, Paris and Dubai to Abu Dhabi, each epitomises the brand’s luxurious, fun-loving persona whilst cleverly drawing on its unique location.
In honour of this milestone, COYA has unveiled a special vinyl so music lovers can enjoy the brand’s enrapturing beats at home. The vinyl features ten uplifting tracks by COYA Music (their own in-house music label). The curated collection of tracks act as a tribute to the talented DJs from across the world who have contributed to COYA Music, and the success and unforgettable nature of the music label’s much-loved parties and special pop-up events.
Looking back to where it all began, COYA Mayfair not only holds the title of the brand’s debut, but also the 2019 accolade of ‘Venue of the Year’ at the London Lifestyle Awards. This recognised a place that blends restaurant, bar and private members clubs as one: serving world-class food and drink in an addictively fun atmosphere.
