Positioning itself as an all-day dining destination with the ultimate brunch decadence, the Michelin starred Galvin at Windows, residing at the summit of Hilton Park Lane has recently introduced a new brunch menu. Kicking off autumn in true style, from 15th September between 12-3pm, this extensive menu adapts itself to offer something for all each weekend.

Kicking off autumn in true style, from 15th September between 12-3pm, this extensive menu adapts itself to offer something for all each weekend.

An opportunity to showcase just how creative and diverse the popular brunching occasion can be, Head Chef Joo Won has pulled out all of the stops to offer a mix of weekend favourites with dishes you wouldn’t find anywhere else. As the Indian summer sunshine beams though the large windows with 360-degree views over London, we begin with a selection of classic French pastries including a sweet cinnamon roll and plain croissants with mini jars of jam & Nutella, before moving onto an impressive choice of sourdough toasts. This included the recommended smoked mackerel pâté sourdough with raisin, carrot & cabbage slaw, however the equally sophisticated combination of cervelle de canut & avocado and black pudding & apple compote is also available.

From ceviche sea bream with jalapeño, olive oil & lime juice to raw scallop, plum soy & chilli dressing; this acted as our palate cleaner before the richer main dishes come into play. For us both, this included Galvin at Window’s brunch pièce de résistance: the deluxe Benedict.

Light and delicate dishes are available within this new menu’s raw and cured section. From ceviche sea bream with jalapeño, olive oil & lime juice to raw scallop, plum soy & chilli dressing; this acted as our palate cleaner before the richer main dishes come into play. For us both, this included Galvin at Window’s brunch pièce de résistance: the deluxe Benedict, a combination of tempura lobster tail with poached eggs and topped with rich hollandaise. Other highlights include Head Chef Joo’s full English: the ‘super breakfast’ which includes soft polenta, golden Burford Brown eggs, maple-cured rib eye bacon, stir-fried chilli oyster mushrooms and Anne Rose Boudin Noir (posh black pudding). A succulent flat iron steak and chateaubriand steak is also available with a mixture of French fries, salad & red wine jus among many others.

And to wash this carousel of brunch dishes down with good measure, Galvin at Windows offers a selection of nutritious smoothies, refreshing and bespoke brunch cocktails, bubbling flutes of champagne or a bottle from the restaurant’s wine cellar. Tying the experience off with a sweet finish; we enjoyed a rich choice of desserts including: buttermilk panna cotta, fig & honey, coupe strawberry and Paris breast, hazelnut cream & chocolate sauce.
