The Porn Star Martini has officially been crowned the UK’s favourite cocktail, beating Mojito (#2), Sex On The Beach (#3) and Espresso Martini (#7) to the top spot.
Out-of-home food and drink market insight experts, CGA, said its figures show that the Porn Star Martini is currently the number one cocktail ordered in restaurants and bars across the UK.
Absolut Vodka, who recently dedicated a townhouse to the drink for London Cocktail Week, also revealed that in the 40,000 outlets selling cocktails in the UK, over 1 in 7 cocktails now sold is a Porn Star Martini, making it the fastest growing cocktail in the UK, gaining a 1.2% share of the market since last year.
The brand welcomed over 900 guests through the doors of its townhouse in October to experience the Porn Star Martini through an immersive, multisensory journey showcasing the ingredients; Absolut Vanilia, passion fruit, and bubbles. The Absolut Vanilia Porn Star Martini was also the most ordered drink at the DrinkUp bar at the London Cocktail Week Village.
Absolut Vodka UK’s Senior Brand Ambassador, Dani Umoette, told Luxury Lifestyle Magazine: “Light, refreshing and served with a side of bubbles, the experience of ordering a Porn Star Martini has a sense of theatre to it, making it easy to see why it has become the UK’s favourite cocktail.”

How to make the perfect Porn Star Martini at home
Ingredients:
50ml Absolut Vanilia
25ml Passion fruit purée
15ml Part Vanilla Syrup
1 Slice Pineapple
1 Half Passion fruit pulp
1 Half Passion fruit
A shot of bubbles
Method:
Muddle pineapple in a shaker. Add Absolut Vanilia, passion fruit pulp, vanilla syrup and passion fruit purée. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with passion
fruit. Serve with a side of bubbles (in a shot glass).
