Bose have announced the release of the Solo 5 TV sound system, a one-piece soundbar, and the Solo 15 series II TV sound system, an update to its best-performing pedestal TV speaker, both of which have been described to “make TV sound dramatically better”.
Requiring just one connection from the speaker to TV and using Bluetooth connectivity for wirelessly streaming music, along with an updated, advanced remote that makes controlling the system, TV and other connected sources easier than ever, usability has been conscientiously focused on and developed.
Measuring just 62,8 cm wide, 35,6 cm deep and 7,6 cm high, the Solo 15 Series II system fits under most televisions with screen sizes of up to 50 inches, whilst the Solo 5 system joins the Bose Solo offerings at an even smaller size of just 54,8 cm wide, 8,6 cm deep and 7 cm high – making it extremely versatile for any location in the home.
The Bose Solo 15 series II system features five drivers to create wide, spacious sound, including a dedicated centre center speaker placed to make speech and dialogue more understandable, and the new Bose Solo 5 system has two drivers. A special feature on both the Solo 15 series II and Solo 5 systems is the separate “dialogue” mode that brings forward words, digital signal processing for optimal sound, and proprietary TrueSpace technology that distributes audio well beyond the TV screen and speaker itself. In addition the Solo 15 series II and Solo 5 systems reproduce the full-frequency range, including adjustable deep low notes made possible by the bass control function ono the universal remote.
The built-in Bluetooth technology can also be used to stream playlists or pretty much anything else from your phone or tablet with Bluetooth technology – making the audio experience breathtaking through either the Solo 15 series II and Solo 5 systems.
Available now the Bose Solo 15 series II system is priced at £399.95, while the Solo 5 TV sound system is priced at £199.95 and are available from Bose retail stores, authorised Bose dealers and Bose.co.uk.
