Not everyone can spend their summer lavishing on the Amalfi Coast, but by using bright colours, natural materials and coastal motifs, anyone can transform their home into an inspiring Mediterranean retreat. Here’s how.
Embrace a vibrant colour palette
There are a few colours that evoke Mediterranean bliss and are must-haves for achieving the Amalficore aesthetic at home. Vibrant blues and crisp whites epitomise Greek island getaways, so incorporate this palette through walls, furniture, and accessories.
A blue accent wall or whitewashed furniture can set the foundation, or if you’re renovating, a whitewashed screeded patio paired with blue and white soft furnishings creates the perfect look. Coastal motifs in your outdoor spaces will add seaside bliss when you’re enjoying the sunshine.
