Fusing natural elements with fine Italian design, this show-stopping pop-up aims to whisk buyers away from the stresses and strains of modern life, and help them to reconnect with nature.
The blue Lake art installation instantly transports you into a world where expansive countryside is peppered with breath-taking lakes and forests, creating a tranquil space in which to admire the stunning new Natuzzi Editions Lake Collection in all its glory behind cascading metal curtains. Traversing the curtains, a winding path naturally integrates the living room and the dining room, with a beautiful garden and skylight above it all bringing plenty of lightness and brightness in.
In one corner of the space, an inner room is accessible via a gauze curtain, behind which a sumptuous bed is placed, like an ‘island’ in the garden. Highlighting the beauty of isolation and tranquillity of nature, it effortlessly brings to life exactly what the Lake Collection is all about.
“What you are looking for is also looking for you. Carpe diem and find yourself through this installation,” says Xia Murong, installation designer of the City Lake pop-up store and owner of Mur Mur Lab.

“I associate lakes with silence, tranquillity and rest, which explains why the shape is so round,” says Antonia Digirolamo, designer of the Natuzzi Editions Lake Collection.
“But lakes are never transparent, which adds to them a sense of mystery. In fact, sometimes, when the night falls, lakes can be so tenebrous that they become impenetrable. They are mirrors that reflect the ambiance around. I want to reproduce this effect, so I used blue glass in the furniture accessories in order to reflect the light in the same way as a lake would.
“Essentially, this collection aims to help people to relax and get a better understanding of themselves,” she concludes.
