Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, One Crown Place reached practical completion in May 2021, ahead of the delivery target. The site had been left semi-derelict for many years, but MTD Group’s wider development breathed new life into the area and brought 24/7 activity to the site. The development comprises a mix of old and new elements, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) to create a dynamic and responsive composition. KPF envisioned a city block that had evolved over time, resulting in a unified architectural expression that is both striking and distinctive.
One of the key features of the development is the fully restored Georgian terrace, which had local value despite not being listed. MTD Group retained the terrace, preserving the cultural memory of the place and transforming it into a brand-new five-star hotel with 41 bedrooms, 114-cover restaurants, bars, and club lounges. The warehouse facade on Earl Street was also retained, while 54 Wilson Street, a 1970s block, was retrofitted to provide affordable workspace for companies to grow on the site.
One Crown Place comprises two breathtaking prismatic towers that reach up to 28 and 33 storeys, respectively, and offer stunning panoramic views of London’s skyline. The towers are home to 246 luxurious private apartments, each designed to exude modern elegance with flexible living and entertaining spaces. The Italian-made Arclinea kitchens feature carefully sourced materials from around the world, and the bathrooms are a mix of cool white tiling and warm hues of contrasting accents and fittings. The bedrooms are indulgent spaces that feature bespoke fittings such as B&B Italia wardrobes. The Sophie Ashby Collection, launched in October 2022, includes eleven premium apartments with their own unique personality and stunning views.
One Crown Place also features impressive communal areas, such as a fitness suite, health and beauty treatment room, private residents’ lounge, and a work hub perfect for remote work. Currently, 80 per cent of the apartments have been sold, with 179 residents already enjoying the exceptional residential experience delivered by the concierge and customer care team on a daily basis.
In addition to the towers, the lower six stories of the development consist of high-quality office space totaling 109,675 sq ft (c. 10,200 sqm), with a dedicated office reception by Design Haus Liberty. The retail units will offer leisure or further food and beverage offerings, elevating the site even further to be a 24/7 destination.

Operated by Bespoke Hotels, the five-star hotel features 41 beautifully appointed bedrooms, including six suites and 35 loft, king, and superior bedrooms, providing guests with a quiet and serene environment in the heart of London’s vibrant city.
