Jaimie Hilfiger, internationally-known model, actress, and spokesperson, has established a successful skincare and beauty business that’s changing the way women see their skin.
When her own battle with Rosacea threatened her livelihood and began to erode her confidence, Jaimie set out to create a line of products that would actually deliver results.
Working with her partners at La Curcio Skincare, Jaimie released The Jaimie Hilfiger Collection. The collection benefits from La Curcio’s 40 years in the skincare business and is shaped by Jaimie’s intentional approach to developing products that are beautiful and safe for the skin and our planet.
Vegan, cruelty-free, and void of toxic fragrances, the products are bottled in recyclable packaging. Each skincare product features natural ingredients like orange flower, sage, rose, chamomile, and is specifically formulated to support skin through hydration and anti-aging technology with texture perfection.
Rounding out the collection is a line of lip colour products designed to enhance a woman’s own natural beauty through a proprietary matte velvet application. The lip colours come in a variety of garden-inspired hues, including Peony, Red Rose, Orchid Plum, Blush, and more.
While Jaimie may have forged her career posing on the covers of magazines and walking red carpets, she is now shifting her focus to empowering women through healthy self-care. In 2022, Jaimie plans to continue growing The Jaimie Hilfiger Collection, working to place her skincare products in high-end department stores while further developing her own makeup line.
Who is Jaimie Hilfiger?
Jaimie is completely self-made. And she has been since she was just seven years old. As a first-grader, Jaimie began booking modelling gigs, appearing in various campaigns, including features in the infamous Sears Department Store catalogue. As a child, Jaimie continued to work in modelling, essentially growing up in front of the camera. After graduating from high school, she attended college at the University of Central Florida. UCF was an opportunity for Jaimie to step out of the spotlight and get serious about her studies.
While she loved working as a model, she knew she wanted to be part of the industry in a manner that would bring depth and longevity to her career. So, she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast media with a minor in cinema studies. Her goal was to go into broadcast journalism, bringing hard-hitting news to the masses.
Post-graduation, Jaimie returned to her home state of New York, settling in the city to resume her modelling career while launching into broadcasting. Unfortunately, her re-entry into modelling wasn’t smooth sailing, as she struggled to land runway modelling jobs.
Despite the difficulty, she persisted. While she found that runway modeling wasn’t in the cards for her career, she shifted into print modeling and found her place on the covers of a multitude of magazines. Specifically, Jaimie has appeared on over 30 magazine covers, nationally and internationally, and has earned the International Model Award from the Hollywood F.A.M.E. association.
However, her big break came in the middle of Times Square. While walking toward the subway, she was scouted by the Howard Stern Show for Miss Howard TV.
“That was a blessing; I was a month out of college for broadcast media when I got discovered by them,” she says. “Howard Stern is known as the ‘King of Media,’ so I was really lucky.”
Coupling her invaluable experience on Howard Stern with her interest in fashion, beauty, cosmetics, and celebrity news, Jaimie honed in on becoming a celebrity newscaster. So she moved out of NYC and into Hollywood, working as a Huffington Post columnist, an Us Weekly fashion contributor, and a Fox News Magazine fashion correspondent.
Encouraged by her PR team, she began to appear on TV Shows for the E! Network and Bravo. She also walked countless red carpets, earning a reputation as ‘The Next Kim Kardashian’ according to Huffington Post and being named ‘The Next Paris Hilton’ by Yahoo! News.
Now, Jaimie is a self-made entrepreneur. By immersing herself in the industry and taking on an attitude of sheer determination, Jaimie Hilfiger has parlayed early success in acting and modelling into a burgeoning beauty empire. While she always possessed an innate understanding of the inner power that comes from looking and feeling your best, her position now allows her to share that power with women worldwide. The transition from modelling to beauty mogul makes sense.
As a model, actress, and spokesperson Jaimie spent countless hours in the makeup chair. During this time, she learned lots about skincare and fuelled her existing interest in all things beauty. However, in 2015, she was diagnosed with rosacea.
“I was going to photoshoots and felt embarrassed to sit down in the MUA chair because my face was red and had bumps. I was afraid I wasn’t looking like my pictures when they booked me,” she says.
Consequently, she worked with dermatologists and skincare experts who prescribed creams that were unsuccessful in healing her skin. During this time, she met the founder of La Curcio Skincare, Jacki Curcio, who suggested her products.
“After a couple of weeks of trying La Curcio Skincare products, I started seeing results, and eventually, my skin calmed down.”
In 2015, Jaimie officially partnered with La Curcio and launched The Jaimie Hilfiger Collection of skincare and beauty products. Since then, Jaimie has earned the respect of both beauty insiders and customers worldwide as the creator and face of The JH Collection.
“Trusting La Curcio Skincare really saved my skin and I hope to inspire more people with my journey. I want people to trust my experiences,” Jaimie says.
Today, Jaimie is known for bringing beauty brands to market that align with her desire to pair health and wellbeing with undeniable glamour.
