Originally from Cork in Ireland, Eimear Varian Barry is a professional Instagrammer, stylist, model and mother-of-two.
Our style and fashion editor Melanie Kruger had the recent opportunity to sit down with the lovely Eimear to talk about everything from her current wardrobe staples to her favourite fashion retailers.
How would you describe your style?
Androgynistic, simple, contemporary with a bit of rock n roll.
Which one item from your wardrobe couldn’t you live without?
My @Gestuz Black leather jacket.
What are your current wardrobe staples?
Levis jeans, Zara basic tee, @Gestuz Black leather jacket and Zara heeled black ankle boots.
Who inspires your style the most? (celebrity, family member, etc.)
Instagram inspires me so much. It’s like Pinterest in that it’s a constant slew of style stimulation. I love @oraclefox ‘s style.
Have you had any fashion disasters over the years?
Ha! Yes- I wore a tshirt when i was 15 saying “Porn star in training”. Not proud of it!
Where do you like to shop?
Zara, Acne, Mango, The Kooples, All Saints.
What is your favourite trend at the moment?
Straw straight fedora with a blazer.
How has your style evolved since you started out in the blogging world?
Yes definitely! I went from vintage floral to completely minimalistic to boho in a year!
What is the best piece of fashion advice you have ever been given?
Legs or boobs. Never both.
