With just over two months until Christmas, we at Luxury Lifestyle are getting rather excited about this year’s premium showcase. We’re talking the finest homeware, luxury fashion, accessories to make you drool, food, flowers, and a sprinkling of magic at this year’s Spirit of Christmas Fair, taking place at London Olympia from 29th October to 4th November.
This is the Christmas event of the year, so get your notebooks ready, you won’t want to miss this.
Firstly, there’s the make-over the event has had for 2018, meaning there’s even more opportunity to shop, dine and be inspired. You can expect a collection of 825 independent boutiques and designer-makers, allowing you to fill your boots with gifts galore.
We’ve handpicked our favourite parts below:
Don’t Miss…
The new dedicated Designers Gallery, featuring up and coming designers from across the UK who will be on-hand so you can quite literally ‘meet the makers’. This is a great way to support up-and-coming talent and smaller businesses.
Another delight is the fact that Spirit of Christmas is working with the Prince’s Trust this year through a dedicated pavilion for 25 of its Enterprise businesses. Here, those taking part, will showcase some of their unique products and designs. You can now shop with a purpose, what’s not to love?
Be Involved…
To make the most of your day out, take advantage of the interactive workshops on offer. Visitors can get creative with Biscuiteers and Royal florist Philippa Craddock; contemplate your Christmas menu and decide what to pair it with top London chefs; as well as learn invaluable tips and tricks of the trade from the array of experts. The roster of speakers is simply superb and if learning a new skill is your thing then look no further; you’re in the right place.
For the Foodie in You…
Indulge in tasting some of the world’s most delicious Champagnes where you can enjoy some bubbly in one of the three stylish Louis Roederer Champagne Bars (yes, three!) Whether you want to relax and unwind, or re-energize before some more shopping, these elegant bars are the perfect place.
If you’re making a day of it and want to book somewhere for a spot of lunch, then a unique dining experience with royal caterers at pop-up private dining club, Mosimann’s, is the one for you.
The menu, created exclusively for the Fair, takes inspiration from the tastes of the season and offers a choice of fine dining or more informal sitting to fit all moods and tastes. Mosimann’s hail from Mayfair and are world-leaders in cuisine. It’s not every day you have royal caterers serving up lunch, so make the most of it while you can!
The delectable delights don’t end there – foodies rejoice! The renowned Food Hall is set to be even bigger this year with over 100 exhibitors alongside a brand-new Food Court offering a variety of scrumptious catering options. Meet an array of artisan producers and Great Taste Award winners to find the ultimate fine wines, spirits, handmade cheeses, organic oils, luxury Christmas puddings, truffles and caviar. Hungry, anyone?
There’s no denying this is the UK’s high-end Christmas shopping event. As the Spirit of Christmas Fair prepares to return to London Olympia for its 18th year as never before – you won’t want to miss this unmissable day out. See you there!
