My car of choice
My car choice is the Tesla Model Y. Not only is it a super sexy car, but it also has the highest tech and is kind on the environment. The Model Y also has the third-row seating which is super important for this growing family.
My favourite holiday destination
Growing up, my family has always travelled to Taiwan every few years to visit family and over the years I have absolutely fallen in love with Asia. The food, the people, the culture is all so rich and beautiful. Taiwan has a little bit of everything all compacted, all on a beautiful island – a gorgeous big city (think NY but CLEAN), snowy top mountains, jungles, forests, beaches, country fields, everything!
My gadget I can’t live without
It would have to be my phone. As an influencer and mom, it has become an extension of me. That’s a bit of a given, so other than my phone, I love my home system from Bose. I have my Bose SoundBar 700, Bose Home Speaker and Bose Soundlink Revolve+ all synced so I can blast good vibes and music throughout the house all day.
My go to fashion brand
I love Frame and Theory for practical staple pieces for every mom to wear while feeling a sense of elevated casual. Although I do love getting glam, 2020 and the beginning of 2021 has been lived entirely in loungewear – FashionNova is my go-to affordable and stylish loungewear that still looks luxurious. Who says luxury and a happy price tag can’t go hand in hand?
My airline of choice
Did know that Eva Air has a Hello Kitty route? Everything in the cabin is Hello Kitty and Sanrio themed – even down to the food and utensils! Although this might not be the conventional definition of ‘luxury,’ but for my two and six year old, it is the most lux flight they could ever dream of.
My favourite restaurant
Uchi in Austin, TX is incredible. It is a high-end Japanese experience built in a beautifully refurbished bungalow right outside of downtown Austin. Chef Tyson Cole was awarded a Michelin Star for this restaurant because it’s THAT amazing, and you really can’t beat the romantic and private vibe of the intimate dining experience.
My guilty pleasure
A super indulgent spa day. My first ever massage was when I was pregnant with my oldest, Scarlett. Ethan (Amber’s husband) splurged on an incredible prenatal massage and I completely melted. Ethan never asks me what I want for my birthday/Christmas/anniversary anymore because he always knows that I’ll tell him to get me a day at the spa. If you find yourself in Texas ever, Lake Austin Spa is a dream.
My favourite way to give back
Every Christmas we always participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree. You get to sponsor a child’s Christmas by picking their ‘gift tag’ off a tree – you then get their age and interests and can go shop accordingly to help make sure all kids can wake up to a magical Christmas well deserved. As a mom now, this charity means more to me than ever.
