We caught up with Bernardo Vasconcelos, a celebrity hairstylist that has spent over a decade creating and carefully crafting a globally renowned luxury hairstyling brand.
Bernardo became a household name after creating his exclusive Brazilian style technique known as Contour Signature Balayage which has graced the covers of international magazines such as Forbes, British Vogue, Tattler and Glamour.
He owns BCO London Salon, which is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious salons in the UK, and still works with many celebrities, actors, recording artists and social media influencers. His goal is to make every single client feel powerful and confident.
My car of choice
My car of choice would have to be a Mercedes G Wagon Brabus. It offers unparalleled performance, luxury and is super fast. It is an over-the-top outlandish car which I love. It is undeniably one of the most eye-catching SUV’s when it takes to the road.
My favourite holiday destination
My top two holiday destinations are Mykonos and Rio de Janeiro. I love to go to Mykonos with friends in the summer, it has the perfect mix of sun, beach and nightlife. I love the restaurants and the beach clubs there and always have the best time. And Rio de Janeiro will always have my heart as my home and my roots are in Brazil.
My gadget I can’t live without
Firstly my iPhone, this is something I could not live without. I am always on the phone speaking with clients, posting on social media and organising partnerships. Secondly, my iPad. This too helps to keep me organised when working and is perfect to take when travelling abroad.
My go to fashion brand
My number one go to fashion brand is Bottega. I also really love Fear of God for casual everyday streetwear and Tom Ford is a timeless classic for me, too.
My airline of choice
If I could choose then my airline of choice would always be private. However, this is not always possible and so I would say Qatar Airways is always a great experience. Qatar offers unparalleled luxury with the worlds best business class, I always have a great experience.
My favourite watch brand
My favourite watch brand has to be Patek Phillip. To me they are the very best in craftsmanship, heritage and design.
My favourite restaurant
I have a few favourite restaurants, so it is hard to pick just one. As I travel a lot I have many restaurants across the world. In London a new restaurant that has recently opened that I love is Bacchanalia Mayfair. In Mykonos, Noema is my favourite. I also love the Ivy in Los Angeles, and in Miami Mandolin is my favourite.
My guilty pleasure
My guilty pleasure is definitely cake. I also love to watch reality TV shows in my spare time.
My favourite way to give back
I like to give back by donating to my church in Brazil as it is close to my heart and I love to help my community. I also donate to charities in Brazil and my new home in the UK, too.
