We caught up with Joanna Borov, a Polish-born fashion model, influencer and entrepreneur currently living in Los Angeles. She has worked with many prominent brands and designers and graced events such as Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week.
My car of choice
I’ve always loved Ferrari and I still think that those are the most sexy cars but recently I started loving Lamborghini Urus. A few months ago, I dated a guy who owns one and I would usually pick places that were not too close just so we could drive longer. I really enjoyed it!
My favourite holiday destination
I am sentimental to Monte Carlo and I’d always love to go back there. It’s one of the most luxurious destinations – super classy and elegant with amazing nightlife, beautiful resorts, pool parties and spas. I also love the beautiful beaches and gardens there.
My gadget I can’t live without
I have really gotten used to my AirPods Pro and I take them everywhere. I love to listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks and of course it’s super convenient to talk on the phone with AirPods.
My go to fashion brand
I like to match different styles and search for lesser known brands and designers that offer unique pieces but I also have my favourite brands, for example Fleur Du Mal, Zimmermann, and Sandro. When it comes to handbags and shoes I love Chanel, Alaia and Gucci.
My airline of choice
I’ve never had a bad experience with American Airlines and I usually choose them for domestic flights. The service is great and they are always very sweet to my dog Chi Chi Boo who travels with me frequently.
My favourite watch brand
Cartier – it’s simply the best and offers timeless elegance when it comes to watches and jewellery. Also, I’ve been using their perfume for a few years and can’t imagine finding a better scent.
My favourite restaurant
I used to love the Arts Club in London for the most amazing food and great ambience. After moving to California I found a totally different favourite venue – Nobu in Malibu. The view is breath-taking, it’s just by the ocean and you can watch the sunset while eating sushi and drinking fabulous cocktails! It’s a perfect place for Sunday brunch with friends or romantic date.
My guilty pleasure
My guilty pleasure is probably watching old movies or romantic comedies and eating a lot of sweets while doing that! I would finish a whole box of macarons or chocolates, it reminds me of blissful childhood times.
My favourite way to give back
I support and donate to a few charities that help children and animals and I always try to share charitable projects with my followers and I’m happy to take part in events. I had the honour of hosting Babes in Toyland in Hollywood. I also recently adopted a dog named Chi Chi Boo from La Belle Foundation in Los Angeles.
