My car of choice
The Wrangler Unlimited Dragon Jeep. For me, the gold and black edition is the epitome of style and class as far as cars are concerned. With a vehicle like this it doesn’t matter what’s in your way, all obstacles become mere trifles.
My favourite holiday destination
Being a passionate sea and sailing lover, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to explore more Greek islands. Although I’m familiar with about 60 so far, there are plenty more for me to explore. Ancient Greek philosophy and culture is my eternal inspiration and guide.
My gadget I can’t live without
My iPhone 11, I’m a big fan of Apple products.
My go to fashion brand
I always believed that we are attached to the values of the brand rather than the actual style. My favourite ever remains Chanel. I had this fantastic opportunity to visit the famous 31 rue de Cambon, the heart of Chanel the brand and Coco, the person. In that simple, yet stylish, boutique and apartment on the upper floor one really understands her universe, experiences and ornaments that inspired the brand until now.
In that space with lots of mirrors and screens instead of the doors that she didn’t like hoping that her guests will forget to leave and continue to keep her the company, her signature is everywhere: Venetian lions, camellia motifs, black surfaces, crystal chandeliers, engraved cigarette boxes and sentimental mementos of her famous acquaintances and friends: Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Diaghilev, grand duke Romanov, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and many more.
My airline of choice
Virgin Atlantic, not only because of the customer service, but also because they believe in their brand and strive to make it stand out. I’ve never felt so welcome and part of the family on a plane.
My favourite watch brand
I personally never wear a watch, but always delighted to spot a gentleman wearing one of those ancestral antique pocket watches. So alluring!
My favourite restaurant
I don’t eat meat so I am always happy to discover new restaurants with creative vegetarian and fish menus. One of my favourites is Tel Aviv’s Popina that houses an extensive wine selection and eclectically crafted menu by extraordinary chef Orel Kimchi. Their root vegetable, gin and tonic or tuna tartar are not to be missed as well as polenta with greens. When I want a real taste of the sea and good fish in London I opt for one of the FishWorks restaurants where there is always a great choice of fresh fish on the counter. I also enjoy the mouth-watering sushi delicacies of Aqua restaurants in London and Hong Kong or elegant Art Deco inspired Hutong in New York of the same restaurant group.
My guilty pleasure
A luscious glass of Sauvignon from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region or perhaps one of Portugal’s best kept secret, Vinho Verde (Green Wine). Light and refreshing, yet with distinctive character.
My favourite way to give back
Being a part of women’s groups and charities I engage in various activities to empower women and raise awareness about important health and social issues. Most recently, my company is giving back a percentage from the sales of our unique jewellery product, the Aska Maternity Movement Bracelet, to our partner NHS organisation to further support their initiative to prevent stillbirths in England.
