The Luxury Lifestyle List: Rami Aryan, entrepreneur and founder of Relentless Skincare

By LLM Reporters   |

We caught up with Rami Aryan, a businessman who wakes up every morning with a relentless drive to be better than yesterday. As an Arab-American with an extensive international and national background, Rami has brought together all of his experiences in order to find success in all of his endeavours.

With a background that began in investment banking and transitioned into the industrial world, Rami has reigned over an abrasive empire for twenty-three years and is taking his knowledge to the skincare game. Rami’s personal brand is a testament to his adherence to discipline, commitment, and a relentless tenacity to accomplish long-term goals. And he has just launched the exciting new premium gender-neutral Relentless Skincare brand which he hopes will transform the beauty industry.

My car of choice

On a contemporary basis, I enjoy the G63 that I currently drive. It has great, on demand power and an exceptionally luxurious interior. The technological amenities are fantastic as well. For a weekend ‘fun car’, I would prefer the feel of a classic stick shift, preferably on an iconic Aston Martin from the 60s or a Porsche form the 50s.

My favourite holiday destination

Istanbul is, hands down, one of the best places to visit. The combination of new and old world cultures, the great food, and the adventuresome shopping experiences make for a truly exciting trip. Its close proximity to many European and Asian countries allows for short excursions to complement trips to the city.

My gadget I can’t live without

No one, not even the Pope, can live without the hand phone. It’s the source of almost all pain and pleasure these days. More and more business is conducted on a cell phone and as such it’s invaluable. I do have to say though, I really miss my Blackberry.

My go to fashion brand

For tennis shoes or sneakers, definitely Gucci – it’s modern and yet cleaner than some of the other brands. I’m also a big fan of Burberry’s timeless look, particularly on the polo shirts. Finally, the elegance of Ralph Lauren’s classic Americana is my favourite winter go-to look.

My airline of choice

This is a difficult one because they are all deplorable. I do, however, enjoy the British Airways experience on transatlantic flights because of the duty free shopping awaiting me at Heathrow. Similarly, the nonstop to Istanbul is a great time saver. I will give an honourable mention to Japan Airlines for their incredibly courteous staff. Also, it’s a great ego boost to fly JAL because I tend to be taller than most of the cabin crew employees.

My favourite watch brand

Definitely Rolex is the most favourite brand of watch for me. The sport watches look great on the wrist and go with both formal and casual attire.

My favourite restaurant

I’m not what you would call a foodie, I mostly eat for nutrition. Additionally, I am mostly vegetarian; seldom eating chicken or fish more than three to four times a month. My favourite foods are cheese and fruit plates, grain salads, and middle eastern mezza. A favourite restaurant would be one that has a killer lemon tart or a crème brulee.

My guilty pleasure

Definitely ice cream, I enjoy it almost everyday, even if the weather outside is frightful. I lament that there are only 31 flavours (why did they stop at 31?!). In general, the higher fat content of the ice cream, the better, and it must be rock hard and really ice cold as I enjoy chewing ice cream.

My favourite way to give back

There are two ways that I do this. My company has partnered with several charities, one of our favourites is the Folds of Honor, dedicated to providing support and education to the children of America’s fallen. Another is First Responders Children’s Foundation that supports children of responders killed during duty. We also support and cosponsor many truck and car shows whose proceeds support various charitable organisations. But, perhaps my favourite way to give back is to mentor young adults that are up and coming in the business world.
