An icon for nearly two decades – where guests can find clear waters, lush rainforests, and the majestic peaks of the Pitons – Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa is the perfect place to stay, offering both family-friendly and adults-only accommodation.

Additional features include a mile-long beach along Saint Lucia’s exotic south coast, 250 rooms split across Harmony, which is adults-only, and Splash, the family-friendly wing featuring the island’s largest waterpark, an oceanfront spa and the fully supervised CocoLand Kidz Klub.

1. Spa by the sea

For 2024, the Sanctuary Spa at Coconut Bay has launched six new oceanfront cabanas which offer an exclusive 50-minute or 80-minute oceanfront cabana Swedish massage. New spa treatments for 2024 includes ‘High Seas’ – $129 for one guest, and $259 for a couple – which is a full body massage with crashing waves and ocean breeze as the backdrop. The experience combines stretching, and long flowing movements in rhythm with the ocean to relax sore muscles and calm the mind. The spa has six treatment rooms, some of which offer ocean views and outdoor showers, where guests can choose from a variety of signature organic therapies. This includes the Chocolate “Cocoa Tea’ Sugar Scrub, where world-renowned Lucian Chocolate is combined with warm tropical oils with a hint of nutmeg to create an invigorating and exhilarating scrub to improve blood flow.

2. Wonderful weddings

Coconut Bay has introduced a newly constructed wedding venue – an ocean-front gazebo – ideal for a picture-perfect wedding. Catering for weddings of any size, several customised wedding packages are available, including a personal wedding planner, and romantic extras to really make the celebration special; bridal spa treatments, a signature champagne turndown service, and private island tours taking guests through the rainforest to the world famous waterfalls and mud baths.

Brand new for 2024 is the True Love Vow Renewal package, which costs $1,499 for up to 10 guests, including the bride groom. Not only does this include the oceanfront gazebo as the perfect location for this special event, but also the addition of a private dinner reception with a gourmet three-course menu, and a full-day private chauffeured island tour for the wedding couple.
