Athens is a fantastic travel destination filled with thousands of years of history, a colourful culture with spellbinding local music, and exotic food.
Walking streets like the Palaka area are filled with shops, or the tony Kolonaki area, the Beverly Hills of Greece, with its fancy boutiques, galleries, and bistros. It’s definitely a destination that you could stay a week or more and barely scratch the surface of all there is to do and see there. The Holiday Suites Arnis Street is not your regular hotel stay. Located on a tree lined street near the main Athens business area, the recently renovated hotel features 34 roomy suites that are 500 square feet or more.
Each suite has a living and bedroom space with its own kitchenette with sink, microwave and stove with all the pots, pans and kitchen accessories necessary to dine in.
The technology is top notch as well with two televisions and fast wifi. It’s more like an apartment with all that you’d need to stay for an extended vacation or to work from the road. The size of the suites are perfect for all types of travellers, couples, families, and business travellers.
The boutique hotel has a friendly and professional staff that can assist with your plans on getting around town and what to do and see. Downtown Athens is 15 minute walk away and the metro system is nearby as well. Each morning, there’s also a full and expansive breakfast buffet with all the goodies you’ll need to start your day.
This is also a hotel with a kind heart. They are pet friendly and have special services should you wish to bring your pooch along for your vacation.
Services include dog mats, water and food bowls, a welcome hamper that includes a toy, a treat and clean-up bags. For cats there’s a litter box and sand. There is a small fee for the services which they collect and donate to the Greek Pet Charity Stray .
The sister hotel of the Holiday Suites is the Crown Plaza which is just a few minute walk away. Guests are welcome to use the facilities there including their fitness centre, pool, business services or their roof top garden.
