Croatia
Sometimes simplistic medieval opulence makes for the best backdrop to your honeymoon. Enter Dubrovnik, Croatia’s so-called Pearl of the Adriatic. The city’s colossal walls make for an unrivalled photo opportunity, so if you get a chance, take a yacht trip out of the bay for a full panoramic view.
Revealing in the city’s archaic charms is one way to spend your time here, but Croatia’s natural parks are another altogether. Not far from Split, you’ll find the Krka National Park. Known locally as The Mother City, Cape Town boasts delicious cuisine, first-rate views, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Table Mountain. Enjoy the classy restaurants by the waterfront, catch some sun by the beach, or take a car to the Cape of Good Hope. If ever there was a chance to reenact DiCaprio and Winslet’s iconic embrace looking over the Atlantic from the Titanic, you’d find it here, only on dry land.
