Cannes

The glamorous beach resort of Cannes has attracted well-heeled international visitors and French citizens seeking a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings for centuries. The town is famed for its international film festival, which attracts the biggest names in movies to the area, and its Boulevard de la Croisette, which stretches along the coast and boasts luxe hotels, designer stores, and beach clubs. The beaches here are unbeatable and so is the nightlife, while the old town (Le Suquet) is worth exploring for its winding streets, castle on the top of the hill, medieval buildings and panoramic views.

When it comes time to retire each day, you’ll want to enjoy some privacy and luxurious surrounding and so it’s worth renting out a villa in Cannes, whether it’s for the whole family, a group of friends or just you and your loved one to relax in peace.

St Tropez

The choice of villas in St Tropez are sure to match the glamorous vibe of this party-loving town, so when your days out exploring and your nights spent dining and dancing are done with, you can be sure of some high-end surroundings in which to recuperate.

The coastal retreat was made popular in the 60s, attracting the international jet-set to its beaches and buzzing nightlife scene and it remains a popular spot today to enjoy these attractions and more. Visitors can take a step back in time in the cobblestoned La Ponche quarter, hop on a yacht for a day trip around the beautiful coast, while away the hours at the famed beach clubs in the Bay of Pampelonne and enjoy some of the tantalising food across the excellent restaurants.

Cap Ferrat

St Jean Cap Ferrat is a lesser-talked-about destination on the Cote d’Azur but this somewhat adds to its charm. Close to Monaco and Nice, the commune was named as the second most expensive residential location in the world (behind neighbouring Monaco) in 2012, but that’s not surprise given its stunning vistas.

Expect to find museums, monuments and lavish villas to while away the hours in as you relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun. If you’re seeking waterfront villas for your stay, one with a pool, or both, you can be sure that your luxury villa in Cap Ferrat will provide everything you need for a spectacular escape.

Nice

Blending Medieval charm with seaside delights, Nice is a must-visit destination for its wide range of sights to be seen and experiences to be had. The international airport for the region is situated here making it the perfect stop at the beginning or end of your trip and the place will capture your attention in so many ways.

The second largest city on the French Mediterranean coast boasts a beautiful old town brimming with historic buildings and tiny streets with cafés and boutiques galore that you can discover on foot.

The seven-kilometre Promenade des Anglais is a notable street and the name is a nod to the European elite who made this city their summer retreat in the 18th century. Art fans should head to the city for the likes of the Musee Matisse, which showcases the works of Henri Matisse, and Musee Marc Chagall, which features some of the artist’s major religious works.

Foodies will be in heaven too with the range of cuisines to be devoured, but you can’t beat a classic French meal at the likes of Michelin-starred L’Aromate Nice.

Monaco

Opulence reigns in Monaco, where the finest of restaurants, jaw-dropping supercars and clifftop views leave visitors in awe. The principality and microstate sits close to the border of Italy and invites its visitors to enjoy lavish experiences, from multi-Michelin awarded dining to exploring the winding, hilly streets in the latest and greatest Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Aston Martins and the like.

Place a bet or two in the lavish casinos, spend some of that hard-earned cash in the various upscale shops and live like royalty in this unique destination.
