Marking the start of ‘a new history of entertainment in the Far East’, the Tigre de Crystal Hotel and Resort, in Russia’s Primorsky Krai on the south-eastern tip of the country, is the flagship luxury destination set to turn this region into the new go-to casino hub.
Opened in 2015, the five-star resort near to Vladivostok boasts a spacious casino, 121 upscale rooms and suites, two fine-dining restaurants and a bar and is the first phase in the process of building a total of 12 casino resorts in the Primorye Gambling Zone in the next three years alone.
The experts at Planet Perplex, the leading online destination for online casino codes such as Genting Bet promo code, predict that Primorye will be one of the big players in the gaming world.
Tom Edgar of the online hub said: “With a rapid expansion like this planned we can certainly see this becoming the next Vegas or Macau. I’m aware that the second, Shambhala, was due to open this summer but faced setbacks caused by Covid, but watch this space, as when this is open it will surely open the door for the remaining luxury casino resorts in the region’s bid to be the top gambling destination.”
So, what can visitors to the Tigre de Crystal expect to find when they set foot through the doors? We find out.
First of all, any guest will want to drop off their luggage and freshen up before hitting the gaming tables and if you’re the type who truly treats themselves then you’ll want to head straight for the Presidential Suite.
Certainly not doing anything by halves – this is Russia, after all – this is luxury accommodation at its finest. With a warm, contemporary, minimalist feel throughout, the stylish 207 sqm suite can be extended to 250 sqm by combing with a neighbouring deluxe king room and boasts an array of amenities to make a stay fit for royalty.
A living room features a large window with views of Ussuriysky Bay in the Sea of Japan, which is best enjoyed from the large corner sofa with homemade coffee in hand, of course. A dining room boasts a table for eight and a stocked bar, while a fully equipped kitchen is available for use. A bedroom is joined to the state-of-the-art bathroom via a walk-in closet and there’s a sauna, Jacuzzi hot tub and massage waiting for your spa needs.
But you certainly won’t be spending your days in your suite – as pleasant as it may be – for you are surely here for a flutter in the casino. With 40 gaming tables, more than 300 slot machines and a premium hall for the high rollers, any gaming enthusiast will be pleased with options here. Experienced players who want to play in a private atmosphere with higher stakes will head to the aforementioned premium hall and table games include Russian Poker, Casino Texas, Roulette, Blackjack, Sic Bo and Baccarat, while slot games, including those on the popular Spielo and Novomatic machines, are available to all.
In the midst of all this fun it is often easy to forget the time, so when mealtimes come around, you will be pleased to find Cascade (nouvelle cuisine), 88 (a pan-Asian restaurant) and Whiskers Bar. From fresh seafood to succulent steaks and well-chosen wines to mouth-watering desserts, Cascade, headed up by chef Pavlo Tirhas, serves up a great selection of victuals to devour in the elegant and rich red setting. 88 boasts a unique and exotic atmosphere with diverse pan-Asian dishes being prepared by chefs from the northern provinces of China, while Whiskers is situated in the heart of the casino and serves up a selection of juicy cocktails and tasty international bar dishes to please.
