This really was a highlight of my stay.

As the sun dips below the horizon, Mirus Bar becomes the ultimate destination for sundowners and socialising. Inspired by the region’s former spice trade routes, the bar offers a refreshing selection of cocktails crafted with ingredients from the resort’s own herb garden.
For lovers of Japanese cuisine, Umami offers a culinary journey like no other. Set in a teppan theatre, guests can watch as skilled chefs prepare a premium selection of organically grown vegetables, Wagyu beef, and sustainably sourced fish and seafood. With a glass of champagne in hand and the company of loved ones, it’s a moment of pure bliss – a memory to be cherished forever. A sunset and evening spent here really was one of the most special experiences I’ve enjoyed in over 10 years of Maldives visits across 30 plus top resorts.

Water lovers rejoice as this resort caters for all abilities and interests. It’s perfectly located in the peaceful Raa Atoll where you’ll find a huge variety and abundance of marine life including Manta and Whale Sharks. Guided by inhouse certified experts, you can experience the richness of the underwater world, from exploring incredible reef and dive sites surrounded by schools of reef and pelagic fish, to snorkelling with hawksbill turtles, green turtles, and manta rays. Or, why not head out on a sunset cruise for close encounters with friendly spinner and bottlenose dolphins. Our boat was surrounded by these beautiful creatures who delighted us by taking turns to race at the bow.
