From meze plates bursting with flavour to aromatic tagines and succulent kebabs, every dish is a celebration of the region’s rich culinary heritage. Led by junior sous chef Saudy Sayed, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating for up to 114 guests, making it the perfect venue for a memorable evening of dining and entertainment.
For those seeking a more eclectic dining experience, Café Landaa offers a tantalising array of global flavours served in a casual yet elegant setting. With indoor seating for 82 guests and an additional 16 seats at the teppanyaki counter, the restaurant is a lively hub of activity where guests can sample everything from Asian-inspired stir-fries to Mediterranean seafood delights. Led by senior sous chef Jude Fernando, Café Landaa is the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast, a quick lunch, or a relaxed dinner with friends and family.
For a taste of the tropics, look no further than Fuego Grill, where the flavours of the Maldives come to life in a vibrant array of grilled seafood, meats, and vegetables. With outdoor seating for 40 guests overlooking the ocean, the restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere where guests can dine with their toes in the sand and the sound of the waves as their soundtrack. Led by Fernando, Fuego Grill is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner under the stars.
Spa and wellness
At the heart of the resort lies AyurMa, a holistic sanctuary inspired by the Sanskrit ethos of ‘Mother of Life’. Here, guests embark on transformative journeys guided by the principles of Ayurveda, yoga therapy, and wellness. Designed by Avalon Collective, AyurMa’s open-air pavilions and overwater treatment sanctuaries blend Indian influences with the surrounding natural splendour, offering rejuvenation with every breath of tropical breeze and panoramic ocean vista.
The treatments here are exceptional – personalised and highly effective. All in beautiful settings. Booking a night spa ritual is an absolute must and was a highlight to my stay. You are led under the moonlight through the lush island interior, to a candlelit glade where you enjoy a blissful open-air massage under the trees with pure essential oils, before relaxing in a frangipani and hibiscus petal-filled outdoor bath – simply magical.

For those seeking adventure, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru offers a plethora of activities amidst its pristine surroundings. From tennis lessons to snorkelling excursions and private yoga sessions overlooking the ocean, every moment is an opportunity for rejuvenation and exploration. Younger guests are catered to with the Kuda Velaa Kids’ Club and Majaa Maizan Young Adults’ Club, ensuring that every member of the family finds joy and fulfilment.
After dinner, do walk over to the open air bar area to see the shark feeding – it’s incredible to watch meters’ long nurse and reef sharks glide below and myriad rainbow coloured fish. And in the morning, before it gets too hot, be sure to take an excursion to enjoy the resort’s spectacular sandbank too.
