If you prefer to stay cool indoors, there’s also an elegant lounge area where you can kick back with a drink in hand in their plush armchairs or curl up with a good book.

At Heritage Le Telfair, you can experience a luxurious stay in one of its stunning suites and villas. Each suite has been exquisitely designed with artwork adorning the walls, modern furnishings, and airy verandas perfect for enjoying the fresh sea breeze coming off the tranquil lagoon.
Accommodations vary from deluxe suites to junior garden view suites and beachfront suites, all offering different levels of luxury and comfort. The deluxe suites are spacious and feature contemporary décor, while the junior garden view suite provides even more space with private butler services on hand. The beachfront suite is perhaps the resort’s most exclusive option, giving guests direct access to the beach and stunning views of the Indian Ocean from their own balcony or terrace.
Our junior suite was palatial with a large living room, sizable bedroom, spacious ensuite bathroom, and a double terrace. This was more than enough space for our family of three. The suite was equipped with everything we needed for our baby including a sturdy wooden crib, bottle sterilizer, baby bath towel, and slippers as well as a backpack full of goodies from the Baby Timomo club.
Food and drink
Heritage Le Telfair offers you an unforgettable experience with its superb dining options. For generous and refined cuisine, you can visit Annabella’s, the main restaurant. Named as a tribute to Charles Telfair’s wife, the restaurant is known for its homemade savoury dishes that give you the feeling of being at home. If you’re looking for delicious oriental flavours, Gin’Ja is the perfect spot. This Pan-Asian menu offers sushi, teppanyaki, and other Asian cuisines. To top it off, you can enjoy the serenity of their surroundings as they sit on a stretch of white sand overlooking the lagoon.
Le Palmier is another great food option available at Heritage Le Telfair. Situated on a white sand beach stretching along the edge of the lagoon, this specialised seafood restaurant offers delicate cuisine and cocktails prepared to your exact taste. Cavendish Bar provides more English custom and tradition with its selection of cocktails or single malts in a relaxed piano bar atmosphere surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Finally, Le Château Bel Ombre is a 19th-century plantation house offering an exquisite menu with locally-sourced products from farm to plate – a true festival of flavours.

Families can spend a morning splashing about in the pool or lagoon before dropping the kids off at the free Timomo Club. Here, the dedicated staff will take care of your children and provide them with hours of fun activities so that mum and dad can go on an adventure or indulge in a romantic date night.
Couples can laze around by the pool drinking cocktails or explore the Bel Ombre Reserve on a buggy before enjoying a pampering spa treatment. There are also numerous water sport activities to choose from such as SUP or kayaking in the serene lagoon.
