Where to Stay
Le Sirenuse Positano – One of Italy’s and the world’s leading luxury hotels. This once family-owned vacation home excels at intimacy and white-glove service, accommodating only 58 guest rooms. In the backdrop of the dramatic burgundy clay walls of the Le Sirenuse rest splendidly colorful hillsides and a turquoise Mediterranean that you would be hard-pressed to forget. Where to Eat
Visit the exclusive La Fontelina Beach Club Capri, which opened in 1949 and is today an ultra chic beach club (awarded 2016 Best Beach Club in the World by Conde Nast) as well as a fabulous restaurant. Guests can arrive by either boat or by walking down a very steep path (for those who like to work up an appetite). The Beach Club is famous for its stylish blue-and-white striped umbrellas where lucky guests lounge and indulge in the iconic vistas while sipping white-wine sangria with chunks of peach. La Fontelina Beach Club is the perfect option for a day outing.
Eat at Da Paolino Capri, a simply exquisite restaurant that is set in the midst of a stunning lemon tree garden. Guests are absolutely in awe when entering this divine sanctuary of plump lemons and soothing candles, with the overwhelming fragrance of over 130 lemon trees refreshing their every breath. Da Paolino is famous for its excellent seafood, wines, and varieties of unique lemon desserts.
Lunch at Aurora Capri – This family-owned restaurant, famous for its elegant Capri dining scene, marvelous traditional Caprian cuisine and epic award winning wine list from Italy and France, is located under chic cream-colored umbrellas in the heart of Capri. Aurora is one of Capri’s best restaurants (even if it lacks that ever-coveted Michelin star) and attracts returning celebrities such as Armani, Stefano Gabbana and Beyonce.
