LLM’s prestigious Readers’ Travel Awards 2021 now open for entries

Known for shining a spotlight on the finest hotels and travel destinations in the world, LLM – Luxury Lifestyle Magazine – is no stranger to hunting down the travel industry elite. This year marks the fourth instalment of the annual readers’ travel awards for the esteemed publication, and it is thrilled as ever to be highlighting the best in the industry.

The magazine is delighted to announce that despite the most difficult year imaginable for the tourism and hospitality industries, the launch of the LLM Readers’ Travel Awards 2021 will be going ahead.

This will once again be a celebration of the very best hotels, resorts, destinations and travel companies in the UK and across the globe. Scores of entries are expected from big name brands vying for one of the coveted gongs, while smaller venues and companies that are beginning to make a name for themselves in the world of travel are also likely to make a huge impact.

Nominations for the awards are officially open, with UK hotels being invited to compete in a number of categories – from ‘Best Spa/Wellness Hotel’ and ‘Best Hotel for Food’, to ‘Best Beach/Coastal Hotel’ and ‘Best Hotel for Families’. The magazine is also inviting overseas hotels and destinations to take part, once again, as well as tour operators, airlines and cruise lines.

Nick Gibbens, editor-in-chief of LLM, said: “This past year that we’ve all been experiencing has been unprecedented. Now, more than ever, we need to show our support to the industries facing so much hardship. Though many of those lavish holidays have been put on hold, we still need to celebrate what we love so much about our favourite hotel brands, locations and those companies that make the journey and process enjoyable.

“There is a great deal out there worth celebrating when it comes to luxury travel, we wish we could have a category for everything! From fantastic food hotels to the ultimate relaxing retreats and the very best airlines making every journey enjoyable to cruises you could only ever dream of.

“Our readers expect the very best from every aspect of every trip, and we know that they would usually be spending a great amount of time travelling throughout the year. If anyone knows what really ticks all the boxes, it’s them, and it’s for this reason that we’re leaving the final decisions in all categories up to them. We are really excited to see which hotels, destinations and tour operators our discerning readers want to recognise as being a cut above the rest.”
