Royal Suite by Gucci, The Savoy, London, UK
Over the years The Savoy has played host to some of the most iconic names in film and music, including Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra. But behind the scenes, those who were responsible for dressing the world’s greatest celebrities played their part in The Savoy’s history too. Guccio Gucci worked at The Savoy as a luggage porter before he founded his luxury leather goods company. More than 100 years later, the hotel transformed its Royal Suite with furniture, furnishings, and decorative items from the Gucci Décor Collection, as well as art and antiquities specially curated by auctioneers Christie’s.
The 2,852 sq ft suite comes with champagne on arrival, a dedicated butler, classic Italian cocktails, and a VIP visit to Gucci’s Sloane Street boutique – chauffeur-driven in the Savoy’s Rolls Royce.
