Known by the local population as Lago di Como, Lake Como is the third largest lake in Italy. Located at the foot of the Alps, it is a beautiful and peaceful part of the country. There are a number of charming small villages and towns boarding the lake and plenty of lovely nature walks and premium shopping outlets to enjoy. 

Como is the main city in this region of Italy, it has large mediaeval walls enclosing its squares and alleys and is home to traditional markets, restaurants and places of worship, such as the Como Cathedral.  

An hour or so away is the bustling town of Bellagio, where nature lovers can explore the botanical Gardens of Villa Melzi with exotic trees, plants and artistic installations.

Seminyak, Bali

Over in Indonesia, Seminyak is a luxury beach resort area at the southern end of Bali. Here there is an eclectic mix of high-end spas, fine dining restaurants and designer boutique shopping outlets. The atmosphere here is more laidback and sophisticated compared to nearby Kuta.  

For those wishing to witness the beautiful Bali sunsets, Seminyak Beach and Petitenget Beach both offer the best views.
